Britney Spears has apparently reunited with her old manager, Larry Rudolph! Jamie Spears has been helping turn Britney’s life around, and if the latest rumors are true, this is another big step in the right direction. Larry, who is credited with discovering Brit, first parted ways with her when she married Kevin, only to reunite when they divorced. Most recently, she fired Larry last April after he played a part in sending her to rehab. It’s unknown how long he has been back working with her now.

Jamie Spears always supported Larry’s decision to send Britney to rehab, so it’s not surprising that he reached out to her old manager to help get Britney’s career back on track. Larry has been a huge part of Britney’s professional life, so hopefully this is a sign of more good things to come.

For the last six weeks, Britney Spears has essentially been grounded by her daddy, Jamie Spears, in a desperate measure to save her life. Of course, there are worse places to be holed up than her $7.2 million, 7,400-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa in Studio City.

As part of her dad’s restrictions, the 26-year-old is no longer allowed to hit the night clubs in L.A., hang out with her paparazzi pals or make frequent, erratic stops at gas stations, fast-food joints and public bathrooms. A friend of the the singer tells OK! that Brit recently snuck a text message to them saying, “I’m so bored. I hate my life.”

Now, a typical day with Britney includes spending hours alone in her bedroom, which a frequent visitor to the home tells OK! is “like a princess’ room with several walk-in closets and a spa tub, plus a long counter where she used to keep all her wigs.”

Jamie, who stays in a room downstairs, leaves his daughter alone when she’s in her private suite. And since she’s no longer allowed to go out, the pop star now spends hours in front of the mirror trying on different outfits. Read the rest of this entry »

Britney Spears takes a break from her hectic schedule of misbehaving to do something radical this week: work!

She’s been busy guest-starring on the hit CBS show, How I Met Your Mother. Stepping into the shoes of a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office named “Abby,” has been “terrific,” reports Brit. “Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful, and Abby is such a fun girl to play. I’m having a blast!”

Brit’s bit part took the cast by surprise. “We were literally just filming last week and told, ‘You’re not going to believe who just called and said they wanted to be on the show,’” recalled Emmy-winning lead Neil Patrick Harris.

Even more surprising - she’s no trainwreck! Co-star Alyson Hannigan admits she’s “quite impressed” with Britney’s acting.

Less than 24 hours after it was discovered that a deal had been hammered out between the lawyers in the Britney Spears vs. Kevin Federline custody case that would allow the pop star supervised visits with her children, the little Federline lads came to pay mom a visit at her L.A. home.

Around 9am PT today, a Dodge truck carrying Sean Preston, 2, and one-year-old Jayden James entered Britney’s gated community, The Summit. According to sources, the visit is scheduled to end at noon PT.

Also inside the house are Brit’s father Jamie, a pyschologist, one of Kevin’s bodyguards, the court-ordered monitor, and a lawyer.

This is the first time the boys have seen their mother since the Jan. 3 standoff with authorities that landed Britney in the hospital for several nights. Until today, she had only been allowed to speak with her children during short phone conversations.

Many people were surprised then Adnan was forced to turn around and was refused entry to Britney’s neighborhood on Wednesday night, but what many people don’t know is that Adnan may have moved on to another women since Britney’s release from the psych ward.

According to an eyewitness, just prior to showing up at Brit’s house, Adnan was videotaped leaving Bossa Nova Restaurant in West Hollywood with a mystery girl on his arm. A restraining order against the man who’s been at Britney Spears’ side during her downward spiral portrays him as a Svengali figure who held her a virtual hostage in her home, drugged her, took over her finances and controlled the ravenous paparazzi “like a general.”

The order against 33-year-old Sam Lutfi was based on a lengthy declaration from Spears’ mother, Lynne, who says they met in October 2007, when he “essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances.”

Lynne Spears’ account of a long, chaotic night at Britney’s home depicted a drugged and confused pop star being led around by Lutfi, who was setting up pictures for the paparazzi even as she was spinning out of control.

The documents released by the court Tuesday ordered Lutfi to stay away from Spears, her homes, her parents and siblings’ homes and the hospital where she is confined for psychiatric evaluation.

On Monday, Lutfi told The Associated Press in a text message: “I have no problems with anyone writing anything negative against me. My image is not of concern, hers is.” He has not responded to further inquiry.

Lynne Spears said in the order that Lutfi “drugged Britney, he has cut Britney’s home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything — Britney’s business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate.”

Much of the 6-page declaration centers on the night of Jan. 28, just a few days before Spears was whisked by police and ambulance to a hospital psychiatric ward, where she remained Tuesday night. Her mother outlined increasingly bizarre behavior through the night, and said her daughter asked at one point, “When do I get to see my babies?” to which Lutfi answered, “Wednesday.”

Spears has been in court with ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody of their two small children, 1-year-old Jayden James and 2-year-old Sean Preston. She lost visitation rights last month after refusing to hand them back over to their father.

Lynne Spears described a harrowing night that stretched into the wee hours when she, her husband and a friend went to Britney’s home because they’d heard Britney was crying after a fight with Lutfi. Once inside, Lynne Spears said she was told by Lutfi that her daughter didn’t want anyone but her in the house and she was afraid to see her father.

Lynne Spears also said there were several photoggraphers present, who deferred to Lutfi. “The paparazzi reported to Sam and addressed him with great respect,” she said. “They treated him like a general.” Read the rest of this entry »

Sources at UCLA Medical Center tell TMZ Britney Spears has been classified as “G.D.” - Greatly Disabled. That is a huge and dangerous deal. That means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter. Being G.D. is one of the criteria for involuntary commitment.

Several health care professionals tell us Britney has fallen into a “manic state” due to her bipolar disorder. We’re also told, she arrived at the hospital this morning at around 2:15 AM but wasn’t admitted until 4:15 AM, because she was causing such a scene in the hospital. Read the rest of this entry »

In the wee hours of the morning today (just after midnight), Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior.” As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, Britney was referred to as “The Package.”

CNN reports:

The wife of Britney Spears’ paparazzo pal has filed for legal separation from him.

Azlynn Elizabeth Berry cites irreconcilable differences with Adnan Ghalib for the split after four years of marriage, according to documents filed Friday in Superior Court.

Berry, representing herself in court papers, seeks spousal support, and for Ghalib to pay her legal fees, the filing said. Her phone number wasn’t listed.

In recent weeks, Ghalib has been seen accompanying Spears on shopping excursions, restaurant outings and trips to the courthouse in her custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Ghalib is said to work for the photo agency FinalPixx. An after-hours call to the agency wasn’t answered Tuesday.

Ghalib told the syndicated television magazine show “The Insider” on Tuesday that he had photographed Spears for several years before they grew closer in late December. Read the rest of this entry »

Crazy, meet crazazy: Britney Spears’ paparazzi bagman — whose wife just filed for divorce — proclaims that he wants to marry Britney, and more shockingly, that Britney wants to have his baby.

Rumors are also swirling that Britney is prepared to change her religious beliefs to be more in sync with Adnan’s religion: Islam. No word yet on whether she’ll convert, but if Britney’s affection for undertaking the religion of the moment, this seems like a plausible possibility.

Despite everything that has transpired between the two runaway trains, Adnan Ghalib tells “Entertainment Tonight” (via People) that their relationship is “far from over.” He says that he didn’t get involved with Spears to sell more pics. And here’s a howler: Adnan claims that when Britney was looking at pregnancy tests at a Rite Aid, she was “hoping” that she was pregnant with his child.

It’s been just a month since Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib first spent a night together in a L.A. hotel, but their romance appears to be over.

X17online is claiming that Britney’s sometime manager and pal Sam Lutfi showed the agency’s photographers a copy of Britney’s restraining order against Adnan last night. The LAPD has told PageSix.com that no restraining order has been officially filed, but that doesn’t mean Brit hasn’t started the paperwork.

Over the past week or so Adnan — who has earned his expertise in weaponry fighting abroad in Afghanistan, Kosovo and Macedonia — has been acting more bodyguard than boyfriend. The last time they were seen together was on Wednesday when a confrontation erupted at the Gaucho Grill in L.A. where Adnan allegedly threw chairs across the restaurant on the poptard’s behalf.

And there’s more. PageSix.com is hearing that it’s not the first time a woman has filed a restraining order against the snapper.

Sources are now painting a very disturbing picture of Britney Spears, or whoever she happens to be at any given moment.

It’s rumored that the whole British accent thing — well, it’s more than an accent. Britney has multiple personalities, including, as people in her life call it, “the British girl.” We’re told when Spears loses the British personality, she has absolutely no idea what she did during the time she assumed that personality.

Sources say Brit has a number of other identities, where she becomes “the weepy girl, the diva, the incoherent girl,” and on and on.

Sources say Britney had become the British girl the day she didn’t show for her deposition and has no recollection of it.

Apparently the Britney stand off earlier this month had a note found by her friend, Sam Lufti. But not just any note – it was a suicide note written by Britney.

Sam found the note on the bathroom counter in the days leading up to the meltdown.

The letter was filled with reasons why she didn’t want to live any longer, and included lines from a poem about death. Britney said she was sorry for making her life what everyone else wanted it to be.

Britney also mentioned in the letter how lonely and unfair life could be, how peaceful death seems and how her mind would finally be at ease.

So the day before Britney Spears decided not to show up for her child custody hearing, she went shopping at the Betsey Johnson store in Sherman Oaks.

She got naked at the store, and with her paparazzi boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, went into a dressing room together and stayed back there for like half an hour. Sources say they were making all sorts of weird, disgusting noises.

But then when Britney came out, she was still completely naked.

The salesgirl grabbed a dress to cover her, but Britney just screamed at her, “Get away from me! Don’t you F-ing come near me!”

The salesgirl says Britney was mumbling unintelligible things in a British accent, spitting and slurring. The woman says, “I wanted to help her, but she was so mean that I left her alone.”

Britney mumbled one last “F you!” and left the store.
