I’ll Take Britney’s Bizarre Behavior For $300, Alex

Uhhhhh…did I miss something? Last night, Britney Spears was spotted wearing an engagement ring, which really doesn’t make sense because the last time I checked, she wasn’t dating anyone. Let’s see: she divorced Kevin, for the past year has been seen with a slew of scantily clad men, and most recently she got the smack-down from a judge in her child custody suit.

Maybe a diamond really is a girl’s best friend. And Britney’s best friend just happens to reside on her left finger. Nothin’ like a little pick-me-up!

    I’m inclined to believe that she just put a ring on that finger because it was the only finger that fit the ring. Or maybe she felt naked not having a ring on the marriage finger. I can understand that.

    Anyway, the real news to me in the pic was Britney’s desperate need of a manicure. You’d think with all her money she would have cuticles we would all envy. I heard she chews her nails, but the cuticles???????

    I think Jeff is right. There’s probably nothing behind it other than it feels strange to not have a ring there or she wanted to wear that ring and that’s the only finger it fit easily.

    With all that’s happened to her lately, if chewing her fingers helps, I’m willing to cut the girl a break on that one.
