Hello Britney, It’s Child Protective Services Calling
“Britney? Are you there? Please pick up. We’d like to schedule a visit with you.”
Britney’s new partying antics and the now very publicized photos of her crotch have caught the attention of her fans and family, the entire nation, it seems, including: the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services.
Uh-oh, Brit Brit.
It has been reported that The Department has been calling Britney trying to set up a meeting with her and her children so that they can check on the little ones, Sean Preston and Jayden James. The calls aren’t routine, either – they’ve started only after Britney began partying again.
The good people of The Deparment aren’t the only ones concerned about Britney’s behavior though – her family was mortified when they saw pictures of her not wearing any underwear. Britney’s mother, Lynne, and Britney’s father, Jamie, are very upset and are trying to stage an intervention with Larry Rudolph, Britney’s manager.
I have a feeling that won’t go over so well – Larry Rudolph is too busy basking in the excitement of all the press this has drummed up for not only his client, Britney Spears, but also himself.
The Department of Children & Family Services in Los Angeles is no stranger to Britney Spears’ home – they’ve visited her before, in April this year, when Britney’s son, Sean Preston, fell from his high chair and hit his head while under the care of a nanny. It is rumored that The Department is merely following up on that original visit, and isn’t now a convenient time to visit?
I’m not certain whether these reports from Page Six are true, considering it seems like CPS already has too many cases on its hands. My husband used to work for a similar agency and was amazed at the number of cases that fell through the cracks. Considering that Britney has at least one nanny (maybe two?) for the boys, I think she’s well covered. In that respect, at least. She’s not so well covered otherwise.

dexie, i think it’s a hoax, too. it seems like CPS has enough on its hands - britney, with her mom and nannies, seems like not much of a threat.
