Gimme More Video

The stripper-esque video for Britney’s newest song, Gimme More, has been released - and it’s heating up the charts! I found it on YouTube if you want to watch it, but word to the wise: the sound quality is almost painful to listen to.
The video features two Britney’s - one brunette, the main character who is pole-dancing; and one blonde, who is sitting by the bar laughing with her friends. I’m still not sure whether she’s laughing AT the pole-dancing Britney, or WITH the pole-dancing Britney.
Wow. That sounds like it could be the next Barbie doll: Pole-Dancing Britney. Takers, anyone?

dude. that’s a crappy video! it’s all lighting effects and super choppy camera work, trying to distract us from the fact that she’s not the same britney she used to be.
and that’s fine if she’s not, but she needs to accept that and maybe evolve a little, give herself permission to grow as an artist.
or something!

I think that the video is NOT good but the song rocks so i think that it will still do great! If i remember right though brit paid for this video herself and yeah shes loaded but just what we see is ridiculously expensive… her next video will be the britney will love… i am hopefull!

I agree with Shell. The video was a major disappointment, especially for those who had hoped for more at the VMAs. But the song itself is very catchy and very danceable. It will do well in spite of the video, and with any luck the rest of the album will be as good as Gimme More.

I agree with Robyn, maybe Britney needs to grow as an artist and realize that she’s got kids now (boys) who will grow into men and don’t want to see their mom in a video like that. There is a way to be sexy without being a stripper. Thanks for posting the video Jes!
