Britney Spears has apparently reunited with her old manager, Larry Rudolph! Jamie Spears has been helping turn Britney’s life around, and if the latest rumors are true, this is another big step in the right direction. Larry, who is credited with discovering Brit, first parted ways with her when she married Kevin, only to reunite when they divorced. Most recently, she fired Larry last April after he played a part in sending her to rehab. It’s unknown how long he has been back working with her now.

Jamie Spears always supported Larry’s decision to send Britney to rehab, so it’s not surprising that he reached out to her old manager to help get Britney’s career back on track. Larry has been a huge part of Britney’s professional life, so hopefully this is a sign of more good things to come.

For the last six weeks, Britney Spears has essentially been grounded by her daddy, Jamie Spears, in a desperate measure to save her life. Of course, there are worse places to be holed up than her $7.2 million, 7,400-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa in Studio City.

As part of her dad’s restrictions, the 26-year-old is no longer allowed to hit the night clubs in L.A., hang out with her paparazzi pals or make frequent, erratic stops at gas stations, fast-food joints and public bathrooms. A friend of the the singer tells OK! that Brit recently snuck a text message to them saying, “I’m so bored. I hate my life.”

Now, a typical day with Britney includes spending hours alone in her bedroom, which a frequent visitor to the home tells OK! is “like a princess’ room with several walk-in closets and a spa tub, plus a long counter where she used to keep all her wigs.”

Jamie, who stays in a room downstairs, leaves his daughter alone when she’s in her private suite. And since she’s no longer allowed to go out, the pop star now spends hours in front of the mirror trying on different outfits.

“Changing clothes all day long must seem harmless enough, so her dad doesn’t interfere with that,” a friend of Britney explains to OK!. “She’ll change three or four times on days when she’s not leaving the house.”

Some of those clothes include “fat clothes” that Britney likes to wear when she’s feeling bloated or out of shape. Friends say the singer keeps a secret closet stocked with these loose-fitting garments for just these occasions.

One thing visitors to Britney’s home are surprised to discover is that the seemingly scatterbrained star keeps a clean house. “Her life may seem out of control, but the inside of her house is very ordered,” a friend of the singer tells OK!. “She’s very clean and has no clutter.”

An even bigger surprise inside the house — a shrine to ex boyfriend, Justin Timberlake!

Sources tell OK! that few people have seen Brit’s collection of private mementos from her years with the pop superstar. “She’s obsessed with him,” the source reveals. “She has pictures of them together and has devoted a private area just to celebrate him.”

Sounds like Britney needs a little JT pick-me-up!

She’s been busy guest-starring on the hit CBS show, How I Met Your Mother. Stepping into the shoes of a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office named “Abby,� has been “terrific,� reports Brit. “Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful, and Abby is such a fun girl to play. I’m having a blast!�

Brit’s bit part took the cast by surprise. “We were literally just filming last week and told, ‘You’re not going to believe who just called and said they wanted to be on the show,’� recalled Emmy-winning lead Neil Patrick Harris.

Even more surprising - she’s no trainwreck! Co-star Alyson Hannigan admits she’s “quite impressed� with Britney’s acting.

Around 9am PT today, a Dodge truck carrying Sean Preston, 2, and one-year-old Jayden James entered Britney’s gated community, The Summit. According to sources, the visit is scheduled to end at noon PT.

Also inside the house are Brit’s father Jamie, a pyschologist, one of Kevin’s bodyguards, the court-ordered monitor, and a lawyer.

This is the first time the boys have seen their mother since the Jan. 3 standoff with authorities that landed Britney in the hospital for several nights. Until today, she had only been allowed to speak with her children during short phone conversations.

According to an eyewitness, just prior to showing up at Brit’s house, Adnan was videotaped leaving Bossa Nova Restaurant in West Hollywood with a mystery girl on his arm. When Adnan spotted photographers, he quickly bolted, leaving the girl behind. The girl claimed she was a “business associate.�

As Adnan became a “part-time-celeb� (with a brand new Mercedes) and while Brit is staying quiet these last few weeks, Adnan has been seen all over town with different girls. Two weeks ago in Beverly Hills, he was spotted with two women, whom he claimed were out of town friends.

Britney Spears’ new bodyguards are on strict orders from her dad, Jamie: Don’t let her go to a bar or a bathroom alone!

The popwreck went to Jeffrey Chodorow’s new LA restaurant Citrus at Social on Saturday night with her father, a few friends and a woman described as “her chaperone.� The group sat at a table to eat, but Spears hardly touched her lobster burger, preferring butter-fried frites and Tater Tots.

When she got restless, her bodyguards, stationed at several places throughout the eatery, jumped into action. “She continuously got up from the table to go to the bathroom or hang out at the bar and smoke a cigarette,� our spy said. “Bodyguards followed her to the bathroom and bar.� Another snitch who saw Spears leave noted, “She took a coffee cup from the restaurant with her.�

A restraining order against the man who’s been at Britney Spears’ side during her downward spiral portrays him as a Svengali figure who held her a virtual hostage in her home, drugged her, took over her finances and controlled the ravenous paparazzi “like a general.”

The order against 33-year-old Sam Lutfi was based on a lengthy declaration from Spears’ mother, Lynne, who says they met in October 2007, when he “essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances.”

Lynne Spears’ account of a long, chaotic night at Britney’s home depicted a drugged and confused pop star being led around by Lutfi, who was setting up pictures for the paparazzi even as she was spinning out of control.

The documents released by the court Tuesday ordered Lutfi to stay away from Spears, her homes, her parents and siblings’ homes and the hospital where she is confined for psychiatric evaluation.

On Monday, Lutfi told The Associated Press in a text message: “I have no problems with anyone writing anything negative against me. My image is not of concern, hers is.” He has not responded to further inquiry.

Lynne Spears said in the order that Lutfi “drugged Britney, he has cut Britney’s home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything — Britney’s business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate.”

Much of the 6-page declaration centers on the night of Jan. 28, just a few days before Spears was whisked by police and ambulance to a hospital psychiatric ward, where she remained Tuesday night. Her mother outlined increasingly bizarre behavior through the night, and said her daughter asked at one point, “When do I get to see my babies?” to which Lutfi answered, “Wednesday.”

Spears has been in court with ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody of their two small children, 1-year-old Jayden James and 2-year-old Sean Preston. She lost visitation rights last month after refusing to hand them back over to their father.

Lynne Spears described a harrowing night that stretched into the wee hours when she, her husband and a friend went to Britney’s home because they’d heard Britney was crying after a fight with Lutfi. Once inside, Lynne Spears said she was told by Lutfi that her daughter didn’t want anyone but her in the house and she was afraid to see her father.

Lynne Spears also said there were several photoggraphers present, who deferred to Lutfi. “The paparazzi reported to Sam and addressed him with great respect,” she said. “They treated him like a general.”

She said during the evening, “Sam had told Britney she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan (Ghalib), her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids and that she does not deserve her kids.”

It was unclear how Lynne Spears knew details of the fight.

She said at one point, Lutfi told her, “You’d better learn that I control everything,” and said he was the one giving Britney her medications and, “he told me if he weren’t in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself.”

She also alleged that Lutfi threatened her. “Then he said to me, ‘If you try to get rid of me, she’ll be dead and I’ll piss on her grave.’”

Throughout the night, she said Britney continued to ask to see her children.

“What do I have to do to see them?” her mother quoted her as saying. “Sam responded, ‘Take the pills I tell you to take.’ Britney said, ‘I don’t like the pills and I don’t like the psychiatrist. Can’t I see another psychiatrist so I can see my babies?’”

At that point, Lynne Spears said, “Sam responded, ‘If I told you to take 10 pills a day, you should do what I tell you to see your babies.”

She said one time Lutfi raised his voice and said “Why don’t you get back with Kevin (Federline).” Britney then said, “I’ll do anything to get them back.”

Lynne Spears described various medications in the house and said Lutfi told her he ground them up and put them in Britney’s food to keep her quiet. “He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain.”

Late that same evening, she said Britney decided she needed to go to the drug store for lipsticks. Before they left the house, Lutfi took Britney upstairs and said he gave her something “to make her more lighthearted, happy and fun.”

At the store, she said chaos ensued when Britney’s credit card did not work and she started speaking with a British accent. The manager offered to let them leave by a side entrance to elude the photographers, but she said Lutfi insisted they leave through the front door, then put his arms around Britney and Lynne so the paparazzi could take pictures.

Several health care professionals tell us Britney has fallen into a “manic state” due to her bipolar disorder. We’re also told, she arrived at the hospital this morning at around 2:15 AM but wasn’t admitted until 4:15 AM, because she was causing such a scene in the hospital.

We first reported that Britney accused her mother of sleeping with her boyfriend. Now we have more. We’re told Britney screamed, “the only reason she’s admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!!” Britney never said exactly who she was talking about.

When Brit calmed down, she talked about her kids, how much she misses them and how it’s unfair that she doesn’t have them.

In the wee hours of the morning today (just after midnight), Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior.” As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, Britney was referred to as “The Package.”

Before the cops arrived, the shrink told her she was going back to the hospital and Britney offered no resistance. She said, “Is something wrong?” She made hot chocolate and waited. Her mom, Lynne, got extremely agitated, accusing Sam of engineering the impending commitment. We’re told Brit told her to “shut the hell up.” She demanded silence, sat on the floor and wrote notes to people who were there as they waited. When emergency personnel arrived, Brit went on the gurney without resistance.

When everyone arrived at UCLA, things got heated. Jamie Spears began screaming at Sam Lutfi, accusing him of trying to control Britney. We’re told as far as the doctors are concerned — at least for now — Lynne and Jamie Spears are not calling the shots. The point guy for the docs is Brit’s friend, Sam Lutfi.

Sources say after Britney’s commitment earlier this month, she was extremely upset at her dad for getting angry at Sam and the hospital staff. Britney had lawyers draft several documents, however, we’re told she did not sign a durable power of attorney giving Lutfi the power to make medical decisions on her behalf. Nevertheless, something was signed and doctors are going to Lutfi for guidance. Jamie went off on Lutfi in the hallway, accusing him of trying to control his daughter.

Britney has been calm in the hospital, even getting a “cigarette break.”

We’re told during the initial 72-hour stay she cannot be forced to take medication against her will. If, however, Britney does refuse to take the meds, the plan is for the psychiatrist to go to court and have Britney held for an additional 14 days, during which time he could administer proper medications.

Britney has already been diagnosed with a bipolar disorder and has sporadically taken her medication. But one source says the meds just aren’t doing the trick.

Oh, and get this. Lynne Spears drove to the hospital tonight with Brit’s pap friend Adnan!

Our sources say Britney admitted she was on Adderall, a stimulant used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder, and was taking up to TEN laxatives a day. Side note — cameras caught Spears a few days ago picking up a bagful of laxatives.

We’re also told, when she was admitted, Britney accused her mom of “sleeping with my boyfriend.” She wasn’t specific on who she was referring to.

We’re also told that for a time she was hurling profanities at her parents and staff.

The wife of Britney Spears’ paparazzo pal has filed for legal separation from him.

Azlynn Elizabeth Berry cites irreconcilable differences with Adnan Ghalib for the split after four years of marriage, according to documents filed Friday in Superior Court.

Berry, representing herself in court papers, seeks spousal support, and for Ghalib to pay her legal fees, the filing said. Her phone number wasn’t listed.

In recent weeks, Ghalib has been seen accompanying Spears on shopping excursions, restaurant outings and trips to the courthouse in her custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Ghalib is said to work for the photo agency FinalPixx. An after-hours call to the agency wasn’t answered Tuesday.

Ghalib told the syndicated television magazine show “The Insider” on Tuesday that he had photographed Spears for several years before they grew closer in late December.

He said their relationship blossomed after Spears was released from a hospital following a standoff in her home when she refused to return her two sons to Federline’s bodyguard.

We managed to spend a long time together, away from the media,” Ghalib said.

In another interview with the TV show “Entertainment Tonight,” Ghalib denied accusations that he was profiting from his relationship with the 26-year-old pop star.

A lot of people perceive to know or understand her, she’s the most photographed woman in the world,” Ghalib said. “But if you take time to scratch the surface, then you can understand how amazing she is.”
