Denied At The Door: The Real Reason For Britney’s Absence from the Heatherette Fashion Show

The real reason for Britney’s absence from the front row seat reserved for her at the Heatherette show at Fashion Week was not the expected presence of Paris Hilton. Rather, it was a reality check doled out to the Princess of Pop by heiress-model Lydia Hearst. Apparently Hearst doesn’t think Britney is a good enough role model to be given such an item.
Britney Spears arrived at the show but did an about face just as she was about to enter through the backdoor. According to sources, on arrival the toxic singer requested a purse be presented to her. She promised to carry it to her front-row seat where she would be photographed with the coveted clutch.
To Britney’s chagrin, Hearst, who had designed the PUMA bags with Heatherette’s Richie Rich and Traver Rains, politely declined Britney’s offer. Instead of sucking it up and enjoying the show, Britney hopped back in her vehicle and sped away.
Hearst, who had just 100 purses to give away, told The Daily News, “I’m only giving the bag to accomplished young women who are doing something positive to affect the world around them. They are women I look up to and respect, like Gwyneth Paltrow and Sarah Jessica Parker and Anne Hathaway.
They share the same high standards of giving back to the communities in which they live.”
Britney’s spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, replied to the alleged event simply by replying, “It’s not true.”
