Conflicting Rumors: Brit Is “Great” and What About Rehab?

RUMOR ONE:
A day after entering Promises, a residential rehab facility in Malibu, Britney Spears checked out of the treatment center.

“It was against their advice,� says the source. “If she comes back for treatment, Promises will have to assess the situation. Sometimes people come back, but it doesn’t look good.�

After checking out, Spears arrived at the Bel-Air Hotel on Wednesday. When asked by PEOPLE magazine how she was doing, Britney replied, “Great. I’m great.�

Promises is not a locked-down facility, so a patient is able to leave the program if he or she wants to.

Spears checked out of the rehab facility because the paparazzi caused “a media circus over there,â€? another source tells PEOPLE. “She is going crazy and they still won’t leave her alone, even in rehab.â€?

RUMOR TWO:
Pop starlet Britney Spears is going back to Rehab after a brief visit to her Lawyer’s office. Spears, who was negoating her divorce settlement with her attorney, was on strict visit there and then planned to return to her Promises Rehab. Britney’s representative has confiremed that Britney did leave Rehab, but for personal reasons, and has already returned to the facility.

So: which is it? Is she in rehab or not? (Also, is her dog in rehab with her?)
