Britney Spears Watch

Forget natural sun tanning - yesterday Britney hit up her favorite, Epitome Tanning and Nail Salon at the Beverly Glen shopping center in Bel Air, to darken her skin.

She was wearing a billowing sundress and a bizarre bird hat.

The 25-year-old pop princess headed home for a few hours before going on a shopping spree with her cousin Allie at the ‘Hands On’ Boutique in Beverly Hills.

Britney changed her dress in-store and downed a large cup of Starbucks coffee before sending her two sons Sean and Jayden to K-Fed’s house in Tarzana, California for the long weekend.

Yesterday Kevin and Britney’s Malibu house was buzzing with activity. During the day, a woman donning a houndstooth blazer arrived and, after waiting for a bit, was allowed to enter the premises. Soon afterward a new vehicle was delivered to the home.

Could the new vehicle be a gift from Britney to Kevin to say “thank you” for helping her get on the straight-and-narrow? Or did Kevin trade-up his truck for a new SUV? Check it out for yourself:

Fans nationwide will start receiving calls from Britney Spears today as part of a new promotion from Elizabeth Arden that uses Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) technology to send customized phone call recordings from the pop star to her fans across the country. The promotion is being offered in conjunction with Britney Spears’ latest fragrance, MIDNIGHT fantasy, which launched in December 2006.

How do I send or receive a personal message from Britney?
Senders provide the receiver’s name and personality to create a personalized “MIDNIGHT fantasy” message from Britney selected just for them. Messages will be sent from the site http://www.midnightfantasybritneyspears.com. The Britney Spears personal voice message will be heard as soon as the lucky recipient picks up the phone.

What does Britney think about this new advertising campaign?
“It’s so cool to personally reach out to my fans this way!,” said Britney Spears. “I am really excited for people to get the calls and send ‘midnight fantasy’ messages to their friends from me. I absolutely love this new fragrance, and hope everyone is encouraged to try it.”

The real reason for Britney’s absence from the front row seat reserved for her at the Heatherette show at Fashion Week was not the expected presence of Paris Hilton. Rather, it was a reality check doled out to the Princess of Pop by heiress-model Lydia Hearst. Apparently Hearst doesn’t think Britney is a good enough role model to be given such an item.

Britney Spears is in New York this week to see and be seen at Fashion Week. But if you think she’s been holing up and resting in her hotel room, think again. Britney hit up one of the Upper East Side’s best-loved shops, Zitomer, and picked out some wacky stuff, including a giant red fur hat.

Britney flew from Vegas to New York Thursday evening as a special guest of Kimora Lee Simmons at the designer’s Baby Phat show which helped kick off Fashion Week.

After taking off a sleek black jacket while passing a photographer line at New York Fashion Week, it was revealed that the pop star had become the victim of every female shopper’s nightmare – the price tag was still attached to her dress.

US Weekly reported that they have a theory that you can tell everything you need to know about a person from their shoes and their grocery list. With that in mind, they examined the grocery cart of Britney Spears.

A week ago today, Spears, 25, picked up some groceries and sympathy cards in Malibu, California. (The singer mourned the loss of her aunt Sandra Covington, 59, who died of breast cancer, at a Jan. 23 funeral in Amite, L.A.)

An assistant pushed the cart as Spears sucked on a lollipop “because she’s trying to quit smoking,� says a source.

Vegas blog Luxe Life was the first to report that Britney Spears is back in Vegas tonight, but this visit is all work and very little play for princess of pop. Luxe Life also reported that Britney is getting a total makeover as part of her new-found committment to her 2007 comeback.
