Britney Spears Watch

The rumor mills have gone WILD over the past couple days, declaring that the Circus Tour hung in the balance, that the whole thing might be called off due to an issue over whether the kids could come along with Mama as she performs around the nation or not. Rumor had it that K-Fed, Britney and Papa Spears had gotten together and were hashing out a deal what would allow Sean and Jayden to join Britney on tour, so that she would not miss out on seeing them for the entire time. It was reported that there would be three houses set up as ‘base camp’ - one in LA, New Orleans and New Jersey, and that there would be traveling between them so that the boys wouldn’t have to move around so much. Then there was the $4000 a week that would be paid to KFed in addition to his regular alimony for going along with the deal along with separate housing secured for her baby daddy.

So where was the reported problem? Well, it seems that KFed and Papa Spears forgot to let KFed’s lawyers in on the deal. Whoops! Since they weren’t a part of the decision, they were upset and I dunno, maybe thought Kevin was being taken advantage of, or something. Either way, they apparently got it worked out, as though Britney’s insiders said the Tour hung on this balance - if the kids couldn’t come she’d cancel the whole thing - now it has been reported that it’s all a go. The boys will be there, KFed is up for it all, and the Circus Tents will rise!

Whew.

Britney posted some snapshots of her and the boys on her website, yesterday - looking adorable all dressed up in miniature tuxedos for their uncle Bryan’s wedding! As we mentioned before, on New Years Eve, Bryan tied the knot in a small, intmate ceremony in New Orleans, with only the family in attendance as he married Graciella Sanchez - who also happens to be Jamie Lynn’s manager. Reports say the ceremony was beautiful, and we’d believe it looking at the pictures of Britney and the boys!

What were Britney’s New Years Resolutions? To stop worrying “because I worry too much!” and to stop biting her nails. Maybe one will help the other there!

In other news, Jamie Spears has been granted permanent conservatorship over Britney’s estate officially and legally, almost a year after he acquired the job. The ruling first came down in October, then Papa Spears got a nice pay raise in December from $10k to $16k a month. (Man, I need to get me a sweet job like THAT!). Monday the papers were filed in LA Superior Court to make it officially legal, claiming that Britney is “substantially unable to manage her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.”

Further rumor has it that this move was made in order for Britney to get the insurance needed to cover her upcoming tour. Either way, it’s good that she’s at last being well taken care of by her family!

Last but not least - there’s more rumors (as if there is ever a shortage on them!) that Madonna may join Britney on the stage at some points during the Circus tour! Sources claim that choreographers have been asked to create an “out of this world dance routine” for Britney and Madonna, a high energy dance routine to get them back to what they’re both good at, performing.

Thursday, the paparazzi were surprised to see the flipflop in Papa Spears and Britney’s relationship, if only briefly, as Britney accompanied Jamie to a doctor’s appointment in Hollywood. As they were there, the buzz mounted with the excited speculation that Britney might be hitting the stage next to Madonna that night! Word was that Justin and Britney would be making cameo’s at Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour at Dodger Stadium.

The rumors were true!

During the fourth song, Britney appeared on stage behind Madonna, looking fantastic as they collaborated on “Human Nature”. One of the concert goers told the press that it was a completely different Britney then we saw a year ago. “She was glowing! It looked like she actually wanted to be on the stage!” Ex-boyfriend Justin made his appearance as promised as well, joining Madonna for their song “4 Minutes” which got the high profile crowd singing along.

Also on Thursday, news came that Britney was not going to star as the Virgin Mary after all.
(Um, scuse me while I giggle a moment, because really? REALLY people? HAHAAHAHAH!)

According to FOX Pop Tarts, the role was right but the timing is wrong. Britney loved the script, and is aided by the fact that she’s not nearly as scandalous in Europe, but in the end, the producers of the film “Sweet Baby Jesus” decided in agreement with Britney that now is not the right time.

That seemed to be the only low spot in the weekend though, as after the big night at Dodger’s Stadium, Britney was allowed to take the boys home to Louisiana for the the first time since giving up full custody to ex-hubby K-Fed! Britney, Sean Preston and Jayden James were seen arriving in Kentwood Louisiana early Friday morning. Papa Spears and brother Bryan were along, as Mama Spears greeted the family at the airport excitedly. Insiders say they will spend a whole week back home, letting the boys get to know their cousin Maddie Briann and reconnect with Aunt Jamie Lynn!

Thinks keep getting better and better for Britney - and we couldn’t be happier for her!

Jayden and Sean spend the day as matching bumblebees with daddy K-Fed, but Friday night it was all trick or treat with Grandpa Jamie, Britney and her friends. The boys looked adorable as they gathered candy, and even shared it with mom, who looked to be having the time of her life! I can’t get over seeing the pictures of the Britney and the kids now, after all the hell she’s gone through over the past year!

While the boys were being adorable, Team Britney announced that Wade Robson has signed up to choreograph part of and direct all of Britney’s TOUR! Right now it’s slated as a US tour with a couple of UK dates, but Wade said that he’s “99% sure it’s going to become a world tour.”

Wonder what I gotta do to get them to put in a couple of Alaskan dates, huh?

Meanwhile, Womanizer has climbed to number three on the UK Itunes charts - ranking number one in Ireland (We Irish have good taste, I’m telling ya!)

Of course, there’s always got to be something that doesn’t go quite as planned, right? A couple of days ago, Britney had a minor car accident -very minor, and amusing enough to the pop star to be heard saying “I’m a brainiac!” when she bumped the other vehicle. The incident occured as Birtney swung into a parking space on her way into Great Earth Vitamins, and hit a parked car on the rear bumper/light area. Then, as she got out to check the car’s damage? She swung her door too wide, and hit the other car.

All seems to be ok, though, as nothing more has come of it all, and Britney is still in good spirits - and why shouldn’t she be, when even Simon Cowell is saying good things about her new album!

Britney spent a lot of time trying to hide behind a giant black umbrella the past couple of days, as she spent more time with her kids, unwinding and getting some quality family time in. She visited their school in Los Angeles on Thursday, tossing a glare toward the paparazzi as she went by.

Though her court troubles are over, with the case recently dismissed, her lawyer has declared that she’s still struggling, still fighting to build herself back up. When faces with court, Britney reportedly told him that she couldn’t face all the people, she didn’t want to deal with the people. “She is not very strong. She is still very fragile. I had to explain things to her.”

She may not be strong yet, but she’s certainly on the way up, getting better every day. After picking up the boys at school, Britney, Jayden and Sean (with entourage, of course) headed to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin patch in order to search out the perfect pumpkin to take home. She hid behind umbrella’s for part of the time, but made sure to step into the sun for a photo op with the boys and nanny. Sean Preston even took the time to point out the camera’s to the nanny. Clearly the boys are quite used to all of the attention, despite Britney’s desire to keep them hidden for the day.

What’s new for the Pop Princess? Things are still moving toward the upcoming release of her album, Circus - and if it’s as good as we hope, its success would be the perfect birthday present for her. So tell me… are you looking forward to the ablums release as much as I am?!?

The past few days have seen Britney out and about in LA, as usual. It’s so good to see her so content, happy - even when she’s irritating people in the ice cream shop as she is shown to the front of the line ahead of others and their tasty treats. Ha! With a bodyguard and a friend at her side, Thursday saw Britney grabbing an ice cream cookie sandwich in Westwood.

Then Friday, the Womanizer singer was spotted picking up her boys from school for some mommy time. With her conservator and fatther, Jamie Spears - dressed in some questionable attire fashion wise, two body guards and of course, the Nanny, Britney slipped outside and to the car with Jayden James in her arms, and Sean Preston not far behind with the Nanny. Grandpa carried juice cups and lunch boxes, as the boys finished off their snack on the way to the car - they look so cute, and Britney looked comfortable and happy as she bundled her family into the car. A quick stop at McDonalds for some treats, and they headed home.

Last but not least, Earlier today, Britney was roaming around Studio City, California with her Starbucks frappuccino in hand.

It was recently announced too, that MTV will be airing a 90-minute documentary on Spears, called “Britney Spears: For the Record.” It will debut on November 30th, two days before the new album Circus is released.

Britney talks about everything over the past year or so, saying about her meltdown “I sit there and I look back and I’m like, ‘I’m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?” She continues by reminding us that she’s “been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there’s a lot that people don’t know.”

I’ll be sure to catch the documentary when it airs - and with the success of Womanizer, I’m thrilled that the album’s release isn’t that far away!

Less than 24 hours after it was discovered that a deal had been hammered out between the lawyers in the Britney Spears vs. Kevin Federline custody case that would allow the pop star supervised visits with her children, the little Federline lads came to pay mom a visit at her L.A. home.

Around 9am PT today, a Dodge truck carrying Sean Preston, 2, and one-year-old Jayden James entered Britney’s gated community, The Summit. According to sources, the visit is scheduled to end at noon PT.

Also inside the house are Brit’s father Jamie, a pyschologist, one of Kevin’s bodyguards, the court-ordered monitor, and a lawyer.

This is the first time the boys have seen their mother since the Jan. 3 standoff with authorities that landed Britney in the hospital for several nights. Until today, she had only been allowed to speak with her children during short phone conversations.

Britney Spears was nowhere to be seen today as a court hearing convened in her child custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Responsibly, and continuing to prove himself in the court’s eyes as the better parent, Kevin and his lawyer were on hand as Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon began the hearing, which was scheduled after Gordon suspended Britney’s right to visit her sons.

Gordon allowed reporters into the courtroom for about one minute before he announced that the hearing was being closed.

The commissioner granted a motion from Britney’s attorneys to quash a subpoena, but there was no information given about what the subpoena involved or to whom it had been issued.

A throng of photographers and reporters waited outside the downtown courthouse to see if Britney would come to what one attorney described as “the most significant hearing in the case so far.” Law enforcement officers watched over the scene.

Britney, 26, has had trouble making recent legal dates: On Dec. 12, she called in sick for a court-ordered deposition, then arrived nearly two hours late at an attorney’s office on its rescheduled date, Jan. 3.

Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told The Associated Press on Sunday that he didn’t know if Britney would come to Monday’s hearing, and he indicated that it would be important for her to be there to take the opportunity to try to persuade the court restore visitation.

Britney Spears was released from her “medical hold” at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center yesterday, but still needs psychological help. (As if that weren’t obvious already.) And guess who’s helping her? (This shouldn’t be that hard of a guess, if you read the headline above.)

Yes, that’s right. It’s Dr. Phil McGraw, who was thrown into fame after several appearances as Oprah Winfrey’s go-to psychological expert.

A press release quotes Dr. Phil making a statement about his meeting with Britney:

“My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.”

“She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.” (more…)

TMZ was there as Britney Spears was wheeled out of her home last night on a gurney by paramedics. Look at that shot of her inside the ambulance — she’s smiling! What in the world is the problem here?

The short story:
The incident occured after a three-hour custdy standoff with Kevin Federline - Britney REFUSED to give back her kids. The police were called, Britney went crazy, she was hauled off for mental evaluation, PRAISE GOD.

Britney was finally deposed today, after rescheduling twice due to a “breakdown” in communication, in relation to her ongoing child custody case against Kevin Federline.

The deposition was scheduled to take place from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. However, the depo did not begin until 11:32 a.m. for undisclosed reasons. Speaking from personal experience, I can tell you that not a lot can be discovered in 14 minutes.

Child welfare investigators are looking into “multiple child abuse and neglect” allegations in the custody battle between Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline, according to court documents released Tuesday.

In a request to unseal parts of the case file, an attorney for the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services wrote that there are concerns about the safety and welfare of the two toddlers, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, if they are left in their mother’s care. (more…)

Troubled pop star Britney Spears will be allowed to spend Christmas with her two sons, according to US reports.

While ex husband Kevin Federline continues to maintain full custody, a judge granted the Toxic singer access to Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, on the upcoming holiday.

Britney currently has three weekly visits with her sons, including one overnight stay, all supervised by a court-appointed parenting monitor.

Britney and Kevin were not present at the hearing, leaving their lawyers to thrash out a deal at the The Superior Court in LA.
It’s a minor win for Britney, who has struggled to prove to the court that she is a responsible mother after regularly failing to turn up for mandatory drug tests. (more…)

More court documents in the ongoing custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were released Thursday, which revealed some intimate details about their finances.

• Federline, earned more than a half million dollars in 2006, mainly from entertainment and endorsement deals – but minus business expenses, he only grossed $7,436 that year.

• Spears earns approximately $737,000 per month.

• Federline receives $15,000 a month in child support payments from his ex. (The amount may change, depending on how much more custodial time he ends up getting.) He is entitled to child support payments until Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, become adults, since Spears is the higher earner.

• The documents also reveal that Federline earned $3,300 in royalties in 2006 for his debut song “Popozao.�?
