What was purported to be the remnants of Britney Spears wild Friday buzz cut has been pulled from the eBay auction site. The young mother of two had whipped into a salon for a twenty dollar shave on Friday night, and as onlookers and photographers gathered outside, she sheared off her dark locks. Those locks (or at least they were allegedly Brit’s hair) wound up on eBay with a bid of just over a million dollars.

Though that bid was likely a hoax, the seller claimed that the item was authentic. Nonetheless, the item has been pulled and Brit’s hair will have to find a new marketplace.

The auction was here. Other auctioneers are jumping on the band wagon, offering up strands of Britney’s hair and even the broom that swept Britney’s hair.

Britney’s $20 haircut may have been on the house, but the salon where the fallen pop princess chopped off her locks is cleaning up big time.

The owners say they saved every strand of Brit’s hair and plan to peddle it on eBay. “We will probably auction it off for charity,” co-owner JT Tognozzi tells E! Online.

And that’s not the only way the salon is raking in the dough. The owners admit they are now charging $200 a pop to get the “Brit Buzz Special.”

That Other Blog reported that Felicia Culotta, Britney’s 41-year-old former assistant (who is also a good friend of the author, Ruben, of That Other Blog), wrote Ruben an e-mail in response to his online editorial “Why Britney Is Asking For It…�?

Felicia Culotta was the personal assistant to Britney Spears and also the author of a book about her. Felicia has been seen lately and, according to Wikipedia.org, is rumored to be gearing up to take on assistant duties again for Britney’s 2007 comeback.

Her book Britney: Every Step of the Way: A Friend’s Personal Scrapbook was published in 2000.

What could save Spears from ultimately jumping the rails is something Smith didn’t really have - a fairly strong support system.

Though her parents are divorced, the family remains close. Like Britney, who was a child star on TV’s The Mickey Mouse Club in the 1990s, younger sister Jamie Lynn is also an actress. Jamie Lynn is currently starring in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, and also sang the theme song “Follow Me” for the same Nickelodeon show. Her sister, Britney, penned the lyrics for “Follow Me.”

Christina slammed her old rival Britney Spears, as well as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton for flashing their private parts. She fumed: �?I say keep your legs closed. There’s a proper way to make sure privates are kept privates. Thats just my personal take on exiting a limo.�?

The real reason for Britney’s absence from the front row seat reserved for her at the Heatherette show at Fashion Week was not the expected presence of Paris Hilton. Rather, it was a reality check doled out to the Princess of Pop by heiress-model Lydia Hearst. Apparently Hearst doesn’t think Britney is a good enough role model to be given such an item.

eCanadaNow has reported that a Rabbi sent an open letter to Britney Spears, in which he branded her a bad mother.

According to eCanadaNow, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, known as “America’s Rabbi,” wrote to the Pop Princess to “warn her to amend her ways for the sake of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.”

Hollywood.com reported that Britney Spears’ estranged husband Kevin Federline has slammed reports he turned down a $25 million divorce settlement offered by the pop star.

Reports last week suggested the rapper was offered the money but wanted to hold out for even more cash.

But Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has hit back at the reports, insisting, “Britney’s lawyer is too smart to make that offer, and Federline’s lawyer is too smart to turn it down!�?
