In case you’re having a hard time keeping track of all these reports about Britney, whether she’s in the hospital or not, you’ve happened upon the right site. Here’s a summary:

In the wee hours of the morning today (just after midnight), Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior.” As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, Britney was referred to as “The Package.”

More court documents in the ongoing custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were released Thursday, which revealed some intimate details about their finances.

• Federline, earned more than a half million dollars in 2006, mainly from entertainment and endorsement deals – but minus business expenses, he only grossed $7,436 that year.

• Spears earns approximately $737,000 per month.

• Federline receives $15,000 a month in child support payments from his ex. (The amount may change, depending on how much more custodial time he ends up getting.) He is entitled to child support payments until Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, become adults, since Spears is the higher earner.

• The documents also reveal that Federline earned $3,300 in royalties in 2006 for his debut song “Popozao.�

Boy, howdy. If Britney wasn’t in trouble before, she is now. (How many times in a month can I say that? It seems like something new has been coming to light each day about Britney, and I don’t know what percentage of these rumors are true, but there are A LOT of them.)

This time, it came by word from Britney Spears’ former bodyguard, Tony Barretto. He gave a statement to “News Of The Worldâ€? (Uh, how much was he paid for that “statement”?) accusing Britney with some serious allegations. Namely, that he believes Britney was under the influence of drugs and alcohol while with her children. (Which may be a contributing factor to the judge’s ruling last week.)

“She went on a date with musician Day, 26—who she’d met in rehab—telling her worried protection team she didn’t need them. We did security checks on Howie and told her he was trouble. But she ignored us.

“Hours later hysterical Britney called aides, claiming Day was refusing to let her leave their hotel room. She said she wanted to cancel the tour. She was very confused. We asked her if she was OK and reminded her she had a show to do. Then Howie came on the phone and started arguing with us. We knew we had to get to her fast.” (more…)

In fact, what The Sun is reporting may shock you. Unless you’ve already heard, and then you probably won’t be surprised. But if you haven’t? Dude. Prepare yourself:

A topless Britney Spears got down and dirty in a hotel pool with her former assistant Shanon Funk. According to pals, the ladies cleared the hotel pool of other guests so they could enjoy kissing and fondling each other. Britney’s wild behavior followed her topless romping with video extra Matt Encinias in the same LA hotel.

Britney Spears has rehired cousin Alli Sims as her assistant after sidekick Shannon Funk was fired last month.

Sims dined with Spears and a mystery man at Winston’s in West Hollywood on Thursday after the pop star asked her cousin to assist her until she finds someone full-time.

Sims, who quit Britney’s employ to concentrate on her singing career, agreed.

A source says, “Britney and Alli split on really good terms and Alli was very good at her job, so Britney wanted her back almost as soon as she’d quit.

“Britney was particularly impressed when Alli stood up for her and insisted she was a great mom in a recent interview with People magazine. She knows Alli is someone she can trust.�

Britney Spears’ cousin and former assistant is trying to become the next pop starlet. She has updated her website with a bio, new pic and a song. The song is a live recording from “Les Miserables.â€?

Her bio and says that singing and music have been a huge part of her life since age 4, but the rest is just a bunch of fluff about where she went to school and where she has lived, blah blah blah. She’s cute enough, I suppose, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her as an opening act for Britney in the future.

K-Fed has reportedly called child protective services on Britney. He called protective services claiming that Brit didn’t have the required safety barriers around her pool at her Beverly Hills mansion. Just days after the call, Britney has put the mansion on the market.

Brit has relocated and is living out of the Four Seasons Hotel with her mystery man/bodyguard/sometimes date, Daimon Shippen and her two sons.

Britney Spears claims that she was forced into rehab by her mom, manager and soon-to-be ex husband. She says she never had a drug or alcohol problem and she never should have gone to rehab. She did admit she had an emotional problem after the birth of her second child.

Apparently, Kevin Federline forced Britney into rehab by threatening to battle her in court over the custody of their two children if she did not check herself into rehab.

Britney Spears has reportedly changed the terms of her will\ in a bid to make sure her mother, Lynn, never gets custody of her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The National Enquirer has discovered bitter Britney has also changed her will, leaving her estate and her boys in teenage sister Jamie Lynn’s hands upon her death.

According to the Enquirer, Spears’ new will stipulates that her cousin Alli Sims will be responsible for Sean Preston and Jayden James if Jamie Lynn, 16, is under 21 when the pop superstar passes.

MSNBC reports that the in-and-out-of-rehab saga that has been dogging Britney Spears the past week is moving to a new venue: family law court.

Spears’ estranged husband, Kevin Federline, and his lawyer were scheduled to appear Thursday at an emergency hearing in family law court, Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said. It was not known what issue the 28-year-old aspiring rapper planned to raise, though the former couple are in a custody dispute over their two children.

“Our best information is he will be here; she won’t,� Parachini said. “But anything is possible.� (Britney will not be at the court meeting because Britney has checked back in to rehab.)

Sources report that Britney went to Kevin Federline’s house last night.

Britney and her assistant visited Kevin’s San Fernando Valley house, buzzed the intercom, and got no answer. Britney went around the block, came back, rang again, no answer.

She tried a third time — no reply from Kevin. Sources say that Britney then took her anger out on our photographers, grabbing an umbrella and hitting their car, yelling.

Last week Britney was spotted poolside at the Mondrian, which is nothing abnormal, until you consider what one source says about that odd, odd day for Britney:

Sources tell the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper that Spears arrived at the Mondrian hotel around 1 p.m. on Sunday, where she tried to book a room. But hotel staff denied the singer’s request because she wasn’t carrying cash or credit cards, just a scrap of paper with a partial credit card number on it.

A witness tells the Mail, “She kept saying: ‘Nobody wants me anymore.’”

According to reports, a couple of tourists recognized the singer and took pity on her, taking her back to their hotel room before leading her to the gift shop to buy her a bathing suit.

“But bizarrely she then went to the pool and tried to shave her legs,” a source tells the paper. “She also went to the hotel restaurant Asia of Cuba for a rest on a chair.”

Spears then tried again to book a room and a rental car, but when staff refused, she left the hotel alone around 4 p.m., reports the Mail.

Sources also tell the newspaper that Spears’s lost weekend came on the heels of an intervention staged by her mother, Lynn, who threatened to take the singer’s children from her if she didn’t enter rehab.
