In case you’re having a hard time keeping track of all these reports about Britney, whether she’s in the hospital or not, you’ve happened upon the right site. Here’s a summary:

In the wee hours of the morning today (just after midnight), Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior.” As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, Britney was referred to as “The Package.”

451 Press received a press release from NBC Universal, which included a transcript of NBC News’ “Today” show exclusive with Meredith Vieira and a Spears Family Spokesperson. The spokesperson, Ms. Lou Taylor, stated that Dr. Phil Betrayed the trust of the Spears family, acted inappropriately and took advantage of them. Ms. Taylor also claimed that Britney never planned to appear on the show, and that Dr. Phil acted “self-serving” and that he “compromised” their relationship with Britney.

TMZ.com reported this morning on the matter between Dr. Phil and the Spears family:

Jamie and Lynne Spears slammed — and we mean slammed — Dr. Phil this morning, calling the way he handled his contact with Britney a betrayal, inappropriate and a total breach of their trust.

Spears family rep Lou Taylor told Meredith Vieira on the “Today” show that Dr. Phil actually broached the subject of doing a show about Britney, but that they nixed the idea, only to have Phil try to set up the show anyway and even go as far as ADVERTISE the exclusive. Taylor scorched Phil, saying it was even “inappropriate” for Phil to bring up doing a show, and that the family thought it would be detrimental to Britney. (more…)

More court documents in the ongoing custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were released Thursday, which revealed some intimate details about their finances.

• Federline, earned more than a half million dollars in 2006, mainly from entertainment and endorsement deals – but minus business expenses, he only grossed $7,436 that year.

• Spears earns approximately $737,000 per month.

• Federline receives $15,000 a month in child support payments from his ex. (The amount may change, depending on how much more custodial time he ends up getting.) He is entitled to child support payments until Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, become adults, since Spears is the higher earner.

• The documents also reveal that Federline earned $3,300 in royalties in 2006 for his debut song “Popozao.�?

Roseanne has become vocal about Britney Spears, and her words aren’t limited to Britney’s parenting skills. Rather, she is quite opinionated about the disservice Lynn Spears has done for her daughter. The open letter was published on Roseanne’s blog and calls for Britney to get clean, get sober, and for Lynn to get her daughter [Britney] “straightened out.” I have to wonder: does Roseanne write and publish this blog, or do assistants do it? Does Roseanne even know what is written here? In any case, here’s what she had to say:

“The judge is trying to teach you a lesson, shut your mouth and learn it! You are a bad mother, and so is your mother! Get your shit together and take care of your kids!! Your mom needs to lock your spoiled ass in the basement or wherever it is that you cannot get anymore drugs. Stop drinking immediately too! If you are too weak to do that, then you are no better than a crack whore on the street, and your mom should stop pimping your ass and do what mom’s do…lock up your kid, and sit there with her for as long as it takes to get her right!!! Get guards around her to sober her up! SIT WITH YOUR KID, MOM! AFTER YOU AND HER DAD PIMPED HER OUT LIKE JON BENET, SIT THERE WITH HER AND STRAIGHTEN HER OUT…THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!! (What? You didn’t know it had been titled? Because it has been. According to Britney’s label, Jive Records, the title of the album “refers to blocking out negativity and embracing life fully” — and here I was, thinking it had to do with a drug overdose. Britney.com, Britney’s official site through her record label, Jive Records, recently underwent a design change to promote her Gimme More video premiere.

This redesign goes along with Jive Records’ accouncement that MTV & VH1 will both add the new Gimme More video to its cycle beginning this Monday, October 8, 2007. Considering the possibility of a TRL premiere, I’m wondering if Britney will make an appearance on TRL sometime soon…

You *knew* it had to come out at some point. I mean, other celebrities have had similar scandals. Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Lauren Conrad, Shannen Doherty, Kim Kardashian. (And that’s just from my memory – imagine if I actually researched it!) Some celebrities vehemently denied the rumors. Others embraced the rumors. And still others tried to recover as gracefully as possible once the rumor was confirmed and the evidence hit the market.

So…what do all those women have in common?

I don’t know how much stock to put into rumors, since some have validity and others are bold, outright lies. (And other SHOULD be lies, but alas, sometimes celebrities make stuuupid decisions.)

Latest on the rumor mill? Britney has allegedly been begging K-Fed to give her a second chance. (Um, ha! This is funny because if it were true, it seems that KFed would be smart to take her back, so that he can have her money again, since that seems to be what he’s after. Also, think of all the money he’d make from the publicity of the ordeal.)

A source has said that Britney thinks getting back together with K-Fed will help “straighten her life out.” Which, hey, that may have some validity to it, and it would certainly give the kids a bit more stability at home.

Unfortunately for the rumors, Kevin reportedly wants nothing to do her and refuses to give her a second chance.

Now, I don’t know if this is true, so don’t come running to me if you find out otherwise (well, actually, DO coming running to me – I love getting tips about Britney!), but apparently Kevin’s refusal sent Britney into a deep depression. To top it all off, when Britney learned that Kevin was dating ex-Playboy model and Colin Farrell sex-tape-star, Nicole Narain, Britney flipped out and called the Befrienders suicide hotline. L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon issued an order today stating that Kevin Federline, the father of Britney Spears’ two sons, “is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court.�?
