There are new fears for troubled Britney Spears after she was reportedly seen downing shots of booze after a disastrous comeback gig. The singer, who recently spent time in rehab, enjoyed a wild party in Miami into the early hours of the morning. She hit Mansion in South Beach at about 2.15am before heading to SET for an all-night bash.

Here Britney downed “Purple Hooter shots - part vodka, Chambord and 7-Up”, according to the Miami Herald, an American newspaper. The Herald provided further details about Britney’s antics at the club: “She asked the DJ to play Bob Sinclair’s Hold On, Fergie’s Glamorous and ‘anything by Nelly Furtado”.

“She was doing lots of shots and dancing around like a crazy lady, she’s definitely back on the scene.” Earlier that night Britney performed a rather shambolic gig at Mansion. And we’re told the DJ belted out Justin Timberlake’s new tune Summer Love the minute she walked off stage.

After her gig Brit headed to the Raleigh Hotel in a skimpy black bikini at about 1am for a dip in their pool. Then she went back to Mansion, wearing a red bandana dress and fedora to cover her blonde hair extensions.

SET was her final destination, where she stayed in the VIP room, which has a huge glass window overlooking the crowd, until 5am.

Monster and Critics reported that Britney Spears’ concert at the House of Blues in Orlando on Saturday night had several performance hiccups.

Perez Hilton was tipped by several concert goers that Britney, like Ashlee Simpson, who lip-synchs her live performances with her prerecorded vocals on CD, had the unfortunate accident of her CD skipping.

“This happened not just once. Not just twice. But four to five times! During her performance of Do Something,� says Perez Hilton.

Britney Spears, who has been hiding her shaved head under a wig recently, has asked her dancers to go bald too. One of the dancers on Britney’s comeback tour tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Britney asked her four blonde dancers, “Would y’all cut your hair?” The dancers may have though Brit was joking since none of them got their hair cut.

The dancer, Criscilla Crossland, says that Britney looks “so good” that she could model her bald head. She also adds that two of the songs off of Brit’s upcoming album are “amazing.”

I’m not sure whether Brit was serious about asking her dancers to shave their heads, but one thing is for sure - with all this hype about Britney’s new album, it better be DAMN good.

Orange reports Is anyone out there still interested in Britney’s comeback gigs? We only ask because the pop princess played in yet another House of Blues venue at the weekend - this time in Las Vegas - but apparently she had trouble filling the venue. According to The Sun, some of the $125 tickets were being offered online for a fiver - while many remained unsold as she took to the stage. Mind you, considering the whole act lasts less than 15 minutes and Britters only lip-synchs her way through shortened remixes of five of her greatest hits, we can understand why people might find something else on which to spend their hard-earned cash in Sin City.

Still, it’s not all bad news for Britney. Apparently, her hair is growing back a treat - with reports suggesting it’s now nearly an inch long beneath her wig. “It’s getting longer and she looks beautiful,� gushes one of the star’s backing dancers. Well, that’s a weight off our minds, isn’t it?

But for now, Britters continues to sport an eclectic array of wig-and-hat combos, just to keep the paparazzi on their toes. On Friday, she was in camouflage gear and jeans. Saturday saw her sporting a long dark wig with ’60s-style headband and white minidress, while getting a spray-tan and shopping for antiques in Los Angeles. Then later that day, she’d opted for the “cross-dressing middle-aged man plays golf� look, with a flatcap, cropped tank-top, black shorts and ankle boots. Oooh - there’s never a dull moment, is there?

Britney Spears gave the shortest show yet on her “comeback” mini-tour last Thursday night in L.A.– and spies report that none other than Lindsay Lohan was there to catch the action — all 11 minutes of it.

Meanwhile, Britney’s aunt, Chandra McGovern, tells “Inside Edition” that the pop star’s family has been “very disappointed” in Brit’s crotch-flashing, head-shaving, SUV-slugging antics. “It was a rebellion against everybody,” says Aunt Chandra of the bald head.

Hollywood.com reported that Comeback singer Britney Spears is reportedly furious after topless pictures of her have been leaked online.

In the saucy shots, a grinning Spears poses outside, kneeling on a rock, while holding two flowers over her nipples.

And the singer is furious about the timing of the pictures–she has just embarked on a comeback trail, performing live in a series of comeback gigs this week in California.

A close pal of the singer tells British newspaper The Daily Star, “Britney’s furious these photos have become public. She never dreamed they’d be leaked. She’s concerned the photos will damage her credibility and just make her look trashy.

“She’s concentrating on her career and this draws the focus from her music.�

TMZ reported that Britney Spears didn’t even bother trying to fake-sing in her second comeback show, chewing gum through her lip-synching — and she left the stage even more quickly than she did the night before.

Cellphones and cameras were taken from fans who waited two hours to get into the House of Blues in Anaheim, Ca., reports People, after video and photos popped up everywhere on the Internet. For its trouble, the crowd was treated to a 12-minute set (three minutes shorter than Tuesday’s show in San Diego) during which Spears chomped her gum during songs, when she should’ve been singing, or at least making a reasonable simulation of doing so.

“She was a little off, a little slower than her dancers,� one fan told People. The mini-tour continues tonight in L.A.

MTV reported that most fans who held coveted tickets to Britney Spears’ first show in three years entered the House of Blues on Tuesday with the simplest of hopes — that the recently rehabbed pop star would be there with them.

They heard all the rumors. They woke up to erroneous claims by gossip Web sites and local media that the not-so-secret show — billed as the M+M’s — was off. Even when Britney’s tour bus arrived at the venue, there was still the chance that she might pull the plug at the last minute, as she did at an L.A. club last week. Warnings from venue staff that the show might only last a few minutes didn’t help bolster confidence, either.

Would she sing live or lip-synch, debut new material or stick with the old? None of that was of much concern. All that mattered to the diehards was their chance to see the enigmatic superstar in the flesh. Not much to ask, especially for those who paid upward of $200 for scalped tickets online.

At around 10 p.m. — three hours after doors opened — their hopes were realized. Lip-synching to a backing track of “… Baby One More Time,� Spears took the stage in a long brown wig, silver beaded bra, pleated white miniskirt and white boots. Her body newly toned and her smile beaming, she looked every bit like a woman who had emerged from her quarter-life crisis stronger than yesterday.

Britney Spears was pulled over by Beverly Hills police for allegedly speeding but was let off with a warning, authorities say. The pop star was driving along Sunset Boulevard when she was stopped at 8:45 p.m. Friday. “She was pulled over for speeding,” Beverly Hills police Sgt. Mike Foxen said. “She was warned about her speed and let go. She was not cited.”

Earlier in the day, Spears had done some intense workouts at the Millennium Dance Studio, getting into shape to return to performing. She also has been in the recording studio with music producer JR Rotem, whom she briefly dated.

“Everyone talked about how happy she looked to be back in the studio,” says a source. “She came in focused from the start. She’s always been a pro when it comes to her music.” Spears’s driving last made news when she was photographed in 2006 driving with her baby son Sean Preston in her lap. Spears later said she made a mistake.

Britney Spears is asking fans to turn into paparazzi in a bid to win a signed 30-gig video iPod.

The singer, who has become a number one target for Los Angeles’ top photographers, is sending emails to fans asking them “to sneak up on their friends and photograph them.�

She writes: “Share what happens to you when the clock strikes 12… Where are you? Who is with you?

“Savour every last detail and when you think you have it down, recreate that perfect moment and capture it as best you can in a digital photograph.�

However, Spears warns fans not to recreate her recent infamous ‘panty-less’ paparazzi shots.

She adds, “No images containing nudity, obscenity or violent depictions are permitted.�

Britney’s been dancing her way back to a tight bod and recently has been seen hitting up the studio, too. Considering how hard she’s been working lately, and how little she’s been partying, I’d say rehab was a success! Let’s hope she continues on this path, and that her comeback album is the hottest evah!

Now all she needs is a stylist - what is with those boots? (Brit, sweetie, I’m for hire.)

Post Chronicle reported that Britney Spears is considering quitting pop music to be a stay-at-home mum. The ‘Toxic’ singer is said to be dreading the prospect of re-launching her career because she cannot bear to be apart from her sons, 19-month-old Sean Preston and seven-month-old Jayden James.

The star allegedly confessed her worries while shopping for her boys at Los Angeles children’s store, Glen Kids at the Glen Centre.

A source told website X17 Online: “Britney said that Sean and Jayden are the loves of her life and that she enjoys every moment with her kids.

“She was excited to pick out some new clothes for the boys and she picked up some designer jeans and other items.

“Britney even talked about being a stay-at-home mom, saying that she loves it and that because of her boys, she’s not looking forward to going back to work!�

(Editor’s Note: Personally, I do not believe this rumor is true. Britney loves the spotlight - she’ll be in it for the rest of her life.)

Rumor is that Britney Spears has been telling friends that she “hates� Larry Rudolph and never intended to sign with him again after leaving his orbit in October 2004. However, after her separation from Kevin Federline, Rudolph stepped in and got Britney to sign with him again.

“She signed a five year contract with him,� says a source. “She says she didn’t know what she was doing at the time, and can’t stand him. But what can she do? Bring in a lawyer and say she signed under duress? That she was drunk or stoned?�

If Britney is unhappy with Rudolph, it’s likely that she can’t do much about it, especially with that contract. But after her divorce, all her rehab expenses and her constant nights on the town at pricey L.A. restaurants Spears had better get back to work. And just an album won’t cut it. She’s got to figure out a way to tour. It’s the only way left to make money.

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears reportedly are going into the studio this week to re-record the Motown classic, “You’re All I Need To Get By” — a song made famous by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in 1968.

Timbaland will produce the song, and fans everywhere will be praying for a spark of romance to arise between the two former flames.
