Maybe this is just me being sentimental and girlie again, but I’d LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEE for Britney and Justin to have a love spark again! Could this be a beginning?

Justin Timberlake has extended his personal support to ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, as she recovers in rehab from her recent troubles.

The most high-profile celebrity to come out in support of the former pop princess, friends have claimed that Justin left a message for Britney last week after calling the Promises rehab centre in Miami.

“He wished her the best and told her to get healthy and come back as the Britney he knew” the source told America’s Life + Style magazine.

Timberlake has also asked Spears’ mother Lynn to keep him in touch with the latest developments inside the centre.

Other celebrities to have recently left messages of support for Britney include Pink and Mary J Blige, though under the terms of her treatment Britney is not allowed to receive any phonecalls.

The style guru, who has clothed celebrities including Paris Hilton, is stunned the troubled pop star dared to shear her scalp earlier this month because it makes her look like “an alien.�?

Although the brazen new buzz-cut has won praise from stars including Courtney Love, Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake, an unimpressed Henshall sneers, “What the f**k has Britney done shaving all her hair off? She’s too fat and looks like an alien.

“You can take the girl out of the trailer park but you can’t take the trailer park out of the girl. She looks like trash.�?

Splash News reports Following the recent announcement that poptart Britney Spears has entered a Rehab Facility in Malibu, California, sources have learned that Spears’ family had a rather intresting visitor: Britney’s former flame, Justin Timberlake.

This breaking news comes just days after Britney shaved her head. My sources can confirm that Timberlake, currently on a nationwide tour of the States, was spotted in Malibu at the singers home with his mother Lynn Harless. Photographs show Timberlake driving into Spears’ gated property and a reunion between the the two families.

This is the latest in a string of events that have linked the former flames together. Just last week, American gossip rag, Us Weekly, reported sightings of the two in Manhatten, at Timberlake’s Madison Square Garden concert. Reports say the two hooked up and were spotted chatting like old friends. Justin’s former bandmate, JC Chasez was also rumored to be amoung the couple’s Big Apple reunion.

Ever since separating from Federline in November, Britney has been making headlines for her party-hopping and no-panty-wearing ways.

Could this visit be the start of something new for Spears, a possible reunion between the two Mousekeeters? Only time will tell.

Hollywood.com reports that Justin Timberlake has leaped to the defense of ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, hailing her new bald look “a smart choice.�?

Spears stunned fans last week when she sheared off her blonde locks in favor of a startling buzz cut and had two tattoos etched on her lower hip and wrist.

The world’s media immediately branded the dramatic makeover a cry for help, but Timberlake has a more positive spin on events.

He says, “It was a smart choice. She is starting over, cleaning herself up.

“It was something you wouldn’t expect most stars to do, so she is taking a chance.�?

Ever since Justin Timberlake parted ways with long-time girlfriend Cameron Diaz in December, he has been rumoured to be getting hot and heavy with Scarlett Johansson (who stars in his latest video, ‘What Goes Around…’).

The two singles recently hooked up at the Hennessey Super Bowl afterparty at Mokai, and the sparks were flying.

A Page Six insider reports, “They were talking, dancing, holding hands all night - it was very cozy. Then, as they left through the back, Justin was leaning against the wall and Scarlett came up, leaned into him and did a sexy, little dance, grinding into his body.”
