Britney Spears Watch

Thursday, the paparazzi were surprised to see the flipflop in Papa Spears and Britney’s relationship, if only briefly, as Britney accompanied Jamie to a doctor’s appointment in Hollywood. As they were there, the buzz mounted with the excited speculation that Britney might be hitting the stage next to Madonna that night! Word was that Justin and Britney would be making cameo’s at Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour at Dodger Stadium.

The rumors were true!

During the fourth song, Britney appeared on stage behind Madonna, looking fantastic as they collaborated on “Human Nature”. One of the concert goers told the press that it was a completely different Britney then we saw a year ago. “She was glowing! It looked like she actually wanted to be on the stage!” Ex-boyfriend Justin made his appearance as promised as well, joining Madonna for their song “4 Minutes” which got the high profile crowd singing along.

Also on Thursday, news came that Britney was not going to star as the Virgin Mary after all.
(Um, scuse me while I giggle a moment, because really? REALLY people? HAHAAHAHAH!)

According to FOX Pop Tarts, the role was right but the timing is wrong. Britney loved the script, and is aided by the fact that she’s not nearly as scandalous in Europe, but in the end, the producers of the film “Sweet Baby Jesus” decided in agreement with Britney that now is not the right time.

That seemed to be the only low spot in the weekend though, as after the big night at Dodger’s Stadium, Britney was allowed to take the boys home to Louisiana for the the first time since giving up full custody to ex-hubby K-Fed! Britney, Sean Preston and Jayden James were seen arriving in Kentwood Louisiana early Friday morning. Papa Spears and brother Bryan were along, as Mama Spears greeted the family at the airport excitedly. Insiders say they will spend a whole week back home, letting the boys get to know their cousin Maddie Briann and reconnect with Aunt Jamie Lynn!

Thinks keep getting better and better for Britney - and we couldn’t be happier for her!

The past few days have seen Britney out and about in LA, as usual. It’s so good to see her so content, happy - even when she’s irritating people in the ice cream shop as she is shown to the front of the line ahead of others and their tasty treats. Ha! With a bodyguard and a friend at her side, Thursday saw Britney grabbing an ice cream cookie sandwich in Westwood.

Then Friday, the Womanizer singer was spotted picking up her boys from school for some mommy time. With her conservator and fatther, Jamie Spears - dressed in some questionable attire fashion wise, two body guards and of course, the Nanny, Britney slipped outside and to the car with Jayden James in her arms, and Sean Preston not far behind with the Nanny. Grandpa carried juice cups and lunch boxes, as the boys finished off their snack on the way to the car - they look so cute, and Britney looked comfortable and happy as she bundled her family into the car. A quick stop at McDonalds for some treats, and they headed home.

Last but not least, Earlier today, Britney was roaming around Studio City, California with her Starbucks frappuccino in hand.

It was recently announced too, that MTV will be airing a 90-minute documentary on Spears, called “Britney Spears: For the Record.” It will debut on November 30th, two days before the new album Circus is released.

Britney talks about everything over the past year or so, saying about her meltdown “I sit there and I look back and I’m like, ‘I’m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?” She continues by reminding us that she’s “been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there’s a lot that people don’t know.”

I’ll be sure to catch the documentary when it airs - and with the success of Womanizer, I’m thrilled that the album’s release isn’t that far away!

Or did she? That all depends on which tabloid magazine cover you believe this week!

First up, we have OK Magazine, where Jamie Lynn’s baby daddy speaks up to talk about the rumors about his cheating while Jamie Lynn was pregnant. They claim exclusive photos and interviews of their first thee months, and how thrilled they are to be together and that they want Baby Maddie to be part of their wedding day. AWwwwww!!

Then there’s the National Enquirer. Sure, they’re almost always wrong, but when they’re right? They’re RIGHT. We’ve yet to discover which camp this one is in, but today’s cover sports this gloriously trashy report: “Jamie Lynn Pregnant AGAIN! She’s in tears as pals beg her to abort!” And they take it one step farther too with a little bubble hovering under Jamie Lynn’s armpit: “Guess who’s the daddy this time!”

Aww. Ain’t that sweet! The Enquirer further goes on to say she’s 8 weeks along (which puts the conception date at just one month after Baby Maddie’s birth!) it happened because Jamie Lynn thought she couldn’t get pregnant while breast feeding, and she and Mama Lynne are completely distraught about it. Of course, Jamie Lynn is convinced that Casey is the father, but hasn’t been telling him because of the problems in their relationship.

As always, the source is questionable, so who are we supposed to believe? Of course there’s been a rep that released a statement to OK magazine today, saying the story is 100% false and that Jamie Lynne is not pregnant. The Magazine went straight to Jamie Lynn, who added “You’re way ahead of yourself on that one! We are really happy with where we are right now, there’s no rush for anything.”

So let the baby bump watch begin! Is she, or isn’t she? And are we really surprised that she follows Britney’s footsteps so closely?!

Sources at UCLA Medical Center tell TMZ Britney Spears has been classified as “G.D.” - Greatly Disabled. That is a huge and dangerous deal. That means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter. Being G.D. is one of the criteria for involuntary commitment.

Several health care professionals tell us Britney has fallen into a “manic state” due to her bipolar disorder. We’re also told, she arrived at the hospital this morning at around 2:15 AM but wasn’t admitted until 4:15 AM, because she was causing such a scene in the hospital. (more…)

In case you’re having a hard time keeping track of all these reports about Britney, whether she’s in the hospital or not, you’ve happened upon the right site. Here’s a summary:

In the wee hours of the morning today (just after midnight), Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior.” As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, Britney was referred to as “The Package.”

Poor Britney – she really was the last to know. It turns out that even Kevin Federline knew that Jamie-Lynn was pregnant before Britney did.

A Federline family insider said that Lynne Spears called Kevin on Monday to tell him the news because she wanted him to be prepared for when Britney found out her little sister was pregnant.

Britney reportedly still calls on Kevin during difficult times and the news of Jamie-Lynn’s pregnancy was expected to shake up poor Britney. She learned that her 16-year-old sister was three months pregnant when the rest of the world did, on December 18.

The insider says Kevin is still prepared for fallout. He expects Britney to flip out any day now and blame her mom and dad.

The National Enquirer claims that sixteen year old Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn Spears is ready to drop a ‘pregnancy bombshell’ on mom Lynne. Jamie Lynn was spied ‘apartment hunting‘ with nineteen year old BF Casey Aldridge. And it could be a joint baby shower over at the Spears Estate, Jamie’s big sis, Britney Spears, is also rumored to have a bun in the oven.

Britney Spears has reportedly changed the terms of her will\ in a bid to make sure her mother, Lynn, never gets custody of her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The National Enquirer has discovered bitter Britney has also changed her will, leaving her estate and her boys in teenage sister Jamie Lynn’s hands upon her death.

According to the Enquirer, Spears’ new will stipulates that her cousin Alli Sims will be responsible for Sean Preston and Jayden James if Jamie Lynn, 16, is under 21 when the pop superstar passes.

Britney Spears has put her fury with her mother into verse. The “Toxic�? singer has been angry with Lynne Spears because she felt her mother pushed her into rehab. Now, Spears has written a bitter poem entitled “Dear Mama�? and delivered it to her mother, according to the Star.

In the poem, Spears lamented “that she didn’t have a mom anymore and she couldn’t imagine a mother doing what she did to her child,�? a source told the tab. Spears delivered the verse, along with legal papers, to her mother on June 28 on the set of kid sister, Jamie Lynn’s television show, “Zoey 101.�? The two are reportedly also battling over the affections of Jamie Lynn.

“Britney said, ‘Here Momma, I just wanted to see your face,’�? a source told Star. “Then she got into her car and drove off. Lynne went into the trailer and broke down in tears.�? The CD reportedly contained recordings of phone conversations between Lynne Spears and Britney’s estranged husband, Kevin Federline, in which the two are apparently working in cahoots.

Spears is forbidding her mother from seeing her two sons, and in one conversation, Lynne is said to be arranging to meet K-Fed and the boys, and says, “I have to be careful that Britney doesn’t find out!�? The recordings were made by a private investigator, according to the tab. In another call, Federline assured Spears’ mother that his court battle with the singer was going well. “Kevin told Lynne that he had everything under control,�? adds the source. “He was just going to let Britney hang herself in court.�?

Britney Spears gave her mom a present yesterday — a lawyer’s letter — and mom was none too pleased.

The video was shot in Valencia, Calif. yesterday afternoon on a film set where Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn is working. There are reports circulating that the papers are a restraining order, but TMZ has confirmed that is NOT the case. It is a letter from an out-of-state lawyer. By the way, Britney could not legally serve her mom with a restraining order if she was the one seeking it.

Sources say Britney feels that her mom turned on her in the days before she entered Promises rehab. She also feels Lynn Spears is not stable enough to be around Brit’s kids because she may have her own “issues.�? We’re told the letter bluntly asks Lynn to stay away from the children if she is taking any medications that would impair her ability to be around them.

We’re also told that Britney has become super-protective of her kids and is taking back a lot of the control that others were exercising over her life.

Is Britney reconciling with her mom? This seems to be a month of reconcilations for Brit – first with Kevin, and now her mom!

Judging by Lynn’s visit to Britney’s house last night, they may actually be reconciling, too. Britney and her mom, who once were BFFs, and have recently had several disagreements met yesterday afternoon at Britney’s place. Lynn who showed up with Jamie Lynn, and Jamie Lynn’s boyfriend, who all stayed for a couple of hours.

Yahoo! News reported this morning that Britney Spears has left Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility. After behaving like a rehab yo-yo, Britney checked into Promises for the third and final time on February 22, 2007. She spent nearly a month at the facility and checked out on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 after “successfully completing their program,” Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement released by Jive Records late Tuesday.

Yesterday TMZ reported that Britney has made one of the most amazing turnarounds in celebrity memory.

Sources say Britney and soon-to-be ex Kevin Federline had an “amazing meeting�? on Sunday. They are not only getting along, they are hammering out the terms of custody. We’re told when Britney gets out, she and Kevin have agreed to a 50/50 split with physical custody of their two children. The plan is for Britney to eventually gain primary custody and Kevin will have visitation.

Jamie Lynn, Britney’s sister, and Brit’s mom, Lynne, have been at Kevin’s house helping with the kids while Britney has been getting her own help in rehab. And that help is working. We’re told she has literally turned her life around.

Jamie Lynn is currently starring in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, and also sang the theme song “Follow Me” for the same Nickelodeon show. Her sister, Britney, penned the lyrics for “Follow Me.”
