Britney Spears Watch

Reports are swirling about Britney’s choice to enter rehab on Tuesday, February 20, 2007.

Britney is in Promises, a Malibu style drug-and-alcohol rehabilitation center. Promises costs $110,000 for a 30-day stay in the master suite, which is likely where Britney has chosen to stay.

The luxurious rehab center is very similar to an all-day spa, and the premises even has its own chef that has catered Emmy parties.

People Magazine reports An out-of-breath and disheveled Britney Spears almost lost it when she learned she might miss her flight to Los Angeles on Friday.

Carrying two small bags, Spears, 25, ran through Miami International Airport to catch her American Airlines flight. But when she arrived at the gate and handed her boarding pass to the ticket agent, she was informed that the walkway had been retracted from the plane and the flight was closed.

“She was really upset,�? says David Paulsen, a passenger at an adjoining gate. “She (said) to the agent, ‘I’ve got to get on this plane to get home to my kids.’ She looked like she was about to cry.�?

The ticket agent called the pilot and requested that Spears be allowed on the flight. She told the pilot, “‘I’ve got Britney Spears here and she wants to get on the plane,�? Paulson says. After a pause, the agent said, “No, I’m serious. Can we get her on the plane?�?

A few minutes ago Extra reported that Britney had checked herself into rehab:

Our sources tell us that Brit, who has been notably absent from the paparazzi scene in recent days, is seeking professional help at an undisclosed location.

TMZ, on the other hand reports that while Brit had checked herself into rehab, she left 24 hours later because “she didn’t like the place…�?

TMZ has learned that while Britney Spears checked-in to rehab, she refused to stay and checked out — less than twenty-four hours later!

As “EXTRA�? first reported, the pop star entered a rehab facility two days ago. Now TMZ has learned that the center was located outside of the country, and she refused to stay.

Who knows what really happened? But I’m willing to bet there will be more about it in the next few hours (or days!)…

Pop star Britney Spears is selling the six-bedroom Beverly Hills “love shack�? she purchased just two months ago, sources tell OK! Magazine.

The 25-year-old singer hopes to make a tidy $300,000 profit by flipping the exquisite Tuscan villa, which Brit purchased for a reported $7.2 million in mid-December. There was speculation at the time that she bought it be closer to the Hollywood club scene.
