Britney has been looking for a new place, a new start, to go with the newest comeback, and it seems she’s finally decided on a place. It was reported over the past week that Britney has decided to rent “Chateau Suenos” in Calabasas, while she has another one built in the same area. Britney announced on her twitter account that ““I just took my babies to our new home and they loved it! I can’t wait to move in.” There’s been no ‘official’ announcement, but the ever present paparazzi followed her to the quaint little place on the left.

In other news, the team at britneyspears.com officially announced Team Circus - the talent that has joined them to help get the tour ready to go before it’s March start! Included on the team is:

Jamie King, Tour Director: Jamie worked with Britney efore as director for her “Oops, I did it Again” tour in 2000, and the Stronger” music video - he’s also behind the infamous Britney/Madonna/Christina kiss performance at the 2003 MTV Awards. He also directed five Madonna tours, including “Sticky and Sweet.”

Simon Ellis, Musical Director: Among others, Simon directed the Spice Girls, including their 2008 reunion tour, which was described as “genius”!

JaQuel Knight, Contributing Choreographer. JaQuel’s latest claim to fame is choreographing Beyonce’s Single Ladies music video. All together now - if you LIKED it then you shoulda put a RING on it….

Tony Testa, contributing choreographer. Tony worked with Britney on the Circus promo tour in Japan, which went over fabulously! He’s also worked with Beyonce, Janet Jackson and Danity Kane.

Dreya Weber: Aerial Choreographer. Dreya has choreographed the arial swing trio for Madona’s Re-Invention tour, as well as worked with pink and Cher.

Sounds like an awesome lineup to me! This tour is gonna be HOT!

In case you’re having a hard time keeping track of all these reports about Britney, whether she’s in the hospital or not, you’ve happened upon the right site. Here’s a summary:

In the wee hours of the morning today (just after midnight), Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior.” As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, Britney was referred to as “The Package.”

Britney Spears was released from her “medical hold” at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center yesterday, but still needs psychological help. (As if that weren’t obvious already.) And guess who’s helping her? (This shouldn’t be that hard of a guess, if you read the headline above.)

Yes, that’s right. It’s Dr. Phil McGraw, who was thrown into fame after several appearances as Oprah Winfrey’s go-to psychological expert.

A press release quotes Dr. Phil making a statement about his meeting with Britney:

“My meeting with Britney and some family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.”

“She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.” (more…)

TMZ was there as Britney Spears was wheeled out of her home last night on a gurney by paramedics. Look at that shot of her inside the ambulance — she’s smiling! What in the world is the problem here?

The short story:
The incident occured after a three-hour custdy standoff with Kevin Federline - Britney REFUSED to give back her kids. The police were called, Britney went crazy, she was hauled off for mental evaluation, PRAISE GOD.

Troubled pop star Britney Spears will be allowed to spend Christmas with her two sons, according to US reports.

While ex husband Kevin Federline continues to maintain full custody, a judge granted the Toxic singer access to Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, on the upcoming holiday.

Britney currently has three weekly visits with her sons, including one overnight stay, all supervised by a court-appointed parenting monitor.

Britney and Kevin were not present at the hearing, leaving their lawyers to thrash out a deal at the The Superior Court in LA.
It’s a minor win for Britney, who has struggled to prove to the court that she is a responsible mother after regularly failing to turn up for mandatory drug tests. (more…)

More court documents in the ongoing custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were released Thursday, which revealed some intimate details about their finances.

• Federline, earned more than a half million dollars in 2006, mainly from entertainment and endorsement deals – but minus business expenses, he only grossed $7,436 that year.

• Spears earns approximately $737,000 per month.

• Federline receives $15,000 a month in child support payments from his ex. (The amount may change, depending on how much more custodial time he ends up getting.) He is entitled to child support payments until Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, become adults, since Spears is the higher earner.

• The documents also reveal that Federline earned $3,300 in royalties in 2006 for his debut song “Popozao.�?

Some reporters have been claiming that Britney Spears was globetrotting this week - sightings took place in both Belgium AND France - but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. To wit: Britney had the boys yesterday, and spent a quiet afternoon with them at home, with the exception of a quick jaunt on the town about 3 pm. Here’s a picture (for proof, yo):

We’ve stumbled upon new pics, and thought it only fair that you know: Brit’s mystery man turned up at her house the other day, where he helped her with her kiddos. I’m excited to find out whether this is a new manny, or a new man, or just WHAT he is.

his weekend marked the latest public sighting of Spears with the man, who has been hiding behind dark shades. They turned up at Bel Air Presbyterian Church on Sunday, with Spears carrying son Jayden, who will turn 1 in September, and the man toting a crying Sean Preston, who’s nearly 2. Ruggedly handsome and good with kids – but who is he? Bodyguard? Boyfriend? A little of both?

Seam Preston Federline, the first son between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, looks like he’s starting to take after Daddy, yo. He’s got the top down on his very own Cadillac — now all he needs are corn rows and a wife beater tank top.

Last week Britney was spotted poolside at the Mondrian, which is nothing abnormal, until you consider what one source says about that odd, odd day for Britney:

Sources tell the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper that Spears arrived at the Mondrian hotel around 1 p.m. on Sunday, where she tried to book a room. But hotel staff denied the singer’s request because she wasn’t carrying cash or credit cards, just a scrap of paper with a partial credit card number on it.

A witness tells the Mail, “She kept saying: ‘Nobody wants me anymore.’”

According to reports, a couple of tourists recognized the singer and took pity on her, taking her back to their hotel room before leading her to the gift shop to buy her a bathing suit.

“But bizarrely she then went to the pool and tried to shave her legs,” a source tells the paper. “She also went to the hotel restaurant Asia of Cuba for a rest on a chair.”

Spears then tried again to book a room and a rental car, but when staff refused, she left the hotel alone around 4 p.m., reports the Mail.

Sources also tell the newspaper that Spears’s lost weekend came on the heels of an intervention staged by her mother, Lynn, who threatened to take the singer’s children from her if she didn’t enter rehab.

Splash News reports Following the recent announcement that poptart Britney Spears has entered a Rehab Facility in Malibu, California, sources have learned that Spears’ family had a rather intresting visitor: Britney’s former flame, Justin Timberlake.

This breaking news comes just days after Britney shaved her head. My sources can confirm that Timberlake, currently on a nationwide tour of the States, was spotted in Malibu at the singers home with his mother Lynn Harless. Photographs show Timberlake driving into Spears’ gated property and a reunion between the the two families.

This is the latest in a string of events that have linked the former flames together. Just last week, American gossip rag, Us Weekly, reported sightings of the two in Manhatten, at Timberlake’s Madison Square Garden concert. Reports say the two hooked up and were spotted chatting like old friends. Justin’s former bandmate, JC Chasez was also rumored to be amoung the couple’s Big Apple reunion.

Ever since separating from Federline in November, Britney has been making headlines for her party-hopping and no-panty-wearing ways.

Could this visit be the start of something new for Spears, a possible reunion between the two Mousekeeters? Only time will tell.
