For the last six weeks, Britney Spears has essentially been grounded by her daddy, Jamie Spears, in a desperate measure to save her life. Of course, there are worse places to be holed up than her $7.2 million, 7,400-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa in Studio City.

As part of her dad’s restrictions, the 26-year-old is no longer allowed to hit the night clubs in L.A., hang out with her paparazzi pals or make frequent, erratic stops at gas stations, fast-food joints and public bathrooms. A friend of the the singer tells OK! that Brit recently snuck a text message to them saying, “I’m so bored. I hate my life.”

Now, a typical day with Britney includes spending hours alone in her bedroom, which a frequent visitor to the home tells OK! is “like a princess’ room with several walk-in closets and a spa tub, plus a long counter where she used to keep all her wigs.”

Jamie, who stays in a room downstairs, leaves his daughter alone when she’s in her private suite. And since she’s no longer allowed to go out, the pop star now spends hours in front of the mirror trying on different outfits. (more…)

Don’t really know how they got ahold of them, but an “I Sold It On eBay” store in LA is auctioning off a t-shirt and jeans once owned by Britney Jean Spears.

The top is a lime green tank from Wet Seal, size medium, and the jeans are a pair of size 7/8 Hydraulics.

The sexy pirate Halloween costume worn by troubled star Britney Spears to a West Hollywood bar will be auctioned on eBay.

On the day of Halloween, October 29, the 25-year-old singer swapped her pirate clothes with waitress Nicole Calvin midway through the night in the club bathroom stall.

It so happened that after striking up a conversation with Calvin, the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker asked her if she wanted to trade her slinky halter-top and jean skirt for Spears’ own pirate costume.

“It was random. Britney laughed the whole time and commented about how perky my boobs were and that she wished she’d had hers done,�? Us magazine quoted Calvin, as saying.

“After the swap her assistant said, ‘we’ll get your stuff back to you. But no one ever called me,�? she said.

But, now the 25-year-old waitress has partnered with Usmagazine.com to auction off the costume on eBay to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation.

“I want to help people, especially since the holidays are coming up,�? Calvin said.

Shortly before 1 a.m. on November 18, Britney Spears entered the X-rated Hustler Store in West Hollywood. Spears loaded up on naughty skivvies and headed to the fitting rooms. But store employees “told her they don’t allow people to try on underwear,�? a source at the scene says. “She was really upset.�?

Adds the source: “She looked out of it. There was nothing going on behind her eyes.�? At that point, Spears threw a fit, and took off her own underwear before trying on a pair of boyshorts (with “Barely Legal’ stitched across the rear end) in the middle of the store while 15 other customers looked on. Britney Spears was reportedly devastated to find out she has been included on a recent “unsexy�? list.

The star was planning to make a surprise appearance at a Maxim magazine event at Opera nightclub in Los Angeles on Tuesday night until she found out about the magazine’s most recent “top five unsexiest women�? poll, alongside Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Sandra Oh and Sarah Jessica Parker. (more…)

More court documents in the ongoing custody battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were released Thursday, which revealed some intimate details about their finances.

• Federline, earned more than a half million dollars in 2006, mainly from entertainment and endorsement deals – but minus business expenses, he only grossed $7,436 that year.

• Spears earns approximately $737,000 per month.

• Federline receives $15,000 a month in child support payments from his ex. (The amount may change, depending on how much more custodial time he ends up getting.) He is entitled to child support payments until Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, become adults, since Spears is the higher earner.

• The documents also reveal that Federline earned $3,300 in royalties in 2006 for his debut song “Popozao.�?

After a day of frolicking at Malibu beach in just her underwear, Britney Spears has started work on her first music video in almost two years.

True to form, when she stepped out of an LA warehouse between takes, there was again no shortage of skin on display - her tiny black dress barely covered herself. Last week, Britney Spears was photographed taking a dip in the ocean in only a bra and panties. Even though I think many girls have done this type of thing before (using underwear in lieu of a bathing suit), for Ms. Spears I think it’s a little different. There was clearly paparazzi there, and also it looks like the ocean was too cold to swim in anyway.

I read in one of the tabs last week that some people think that, with all the public nudity and/or scandalous outfit choices Britney opts for, she actually might be an exhibitionist. Well whatever it is (she is), she is definitely begging for attention!

Britney Spears seems be having a hard time lately when it comes to keeping her clothes on in front of the paparazzi. Monday, while trying on several outfits at the Beverly Hills store Jill Roberts, and while consulting with her cousin Allie, a naked Britney Spears stepped out of the fitting room. A fitting room that was directly in front of the store entrance, where paparazzi were happily waiting to take her picture.

She still had on panties, but had bared half-naked body before realizing what was happening.

Hollywood.com reported that Comeback singer Britney Spears is reportedly furious after topless pictures of her have been leaked online.

In the saucy shots, a grinning Spears poses outside, kneeling on a rock, while holding two flowers over her nipples.

And the singer is furious about the timing of the pictures–she has just embarked on a comeback trail, performing live in a series of comeback gigs this week in California.

A close pal of the singer tells British newspaper The Daily Star, “Britney’s furious these photos have become public. She never dreamed they’d be leaked. She’s concerned the photos will damage her credibility and just make her look trashy.

“She’s concentrating on her career and this draws the focus from her music.�?

The real reason for Britney’s absence from the front row seat reserved for her at the Heatherette show at Fashion Week was not the expected presence of Paris Hilton. Rather, it was a reality check doled out to the Princess of Pop by heiress-model Lydia Hearst. Apparently Hearst doesn’t think Britney is a good enough role model to be given such an item.

Britney Spears is in New York this week to see and be seen at Fashion Week. But if you think she’s been holing up and resting in her hotel room, think again. Britney hit up one of the Upper East Side’s best-loved shops, Zitomer, and picked out some wacky stuff, including a giant red fur hat.
