Depression

If this week gets any worse for Britney, she may just commit herself — if only to get away from the public eye. Yahoo! News published a report this morning about Britney, whose car was surrounded by paparazzi, running over the foot of one photographer.
Frankly, considering how they hover around her, I think he kind of deserved it. Then again, if they didn’t hover around her, I wouldn’t have pictures like this:

Lance Bass came out to Britney Spears before he told many of his other friends that he was gay. How did that happen? Well, because he felt bad for her and everything she was going through at the time. Unfortunately, that was the last time they spoke.
In a Q&A session created by GQ, Lance told the story: “It was the night of her first wedding, actually. I was in Vegas with her, her dancers, her manager, and my boyfriend at the time . . . Her manager had already gotten rid of [her first husband] Jason [Alexander] - they’d flown him home.
“Britney was upset about what she had done. I felt bad for her. I knew she was about to go through a lot of crap; I felt the need to share something.” (more…)

Yesterday was a tough day for Britney (though I love that hot pink bag, so there’s that).
Court Commissioner Scott Gordon denied her request (via her new attorney, Sorrell Trope) to reverse Monday’s order, which means that Kevin Federline will remain with temporary full-time custody of their two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
The Commissioner did grant Britney visitation rights, but the full, detailed order was not released by the time court closed yesterday. Britney still doesn’t know when, or how often, or under what circumstances, she’ll be able to spent time with her children. One court spokesman indicated that Britney would be allowed monitored visits every other day, but that’s not certain until the official order has been submitted by the Commissioner.
Kevin’s attorney made Kevin’s intentions known: “Kevin wants to maintain the custody that he has as long as he can.” Which, you know, totally makes sense because he wants to get as much money from Britney as he possibly can. It was HIS sperm that did all the work, you know. (more…)

I don’t know how much stock to put into rumors, since some have validity and others are bold, outright lies. (And other SHOULD be lies, but alas, sometimes celebrities make stuuupid decisions.)
Latest on the rumor mill? Britney has allegedly been begging K-Fed to give her a second chance. (Um, ha! This is funny because if it were true, it seems that KFed would be smart to take her back, so that he can have her money again, since that seems to be what he’s after. Also, think of all the money he’d make from the publicity of the ordeal.)
A source has said that Britney thinks getting back together with K-Fed will help “straighten her life out.” Which, hey, that may have some validity to it, and it would certainly give the kids a bit more stability at home.
Unfortunately for the rumors, Kevin reportedly wants nothing to do her and refuses to give her a second chance.
Now, I don’t know if this is true, so don’t come running to me if you find out otherwise (well, actually, DO coming running to me – I love getting tips about Britney!), but apparently Kevin’s refusal sent Britney into a deep depression. To top it all off, when Britney learned that Kevin was dating ex-Playboy model and Colin Farrell sex-tape-star, Nicole Narain, Britney flipped out and called the Befrienders suicide hotline. Several times. (more…)

L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon issued an order today stating that Kevin Federline, the father of Britney Spears’ two sons, “is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court.â€?

Uhhhhh…did I miss something? Last night, Britney Spears was spotted wearing an engagement ring, which really doesn’t make sense because the last time I checked, she wasn’t dating anyone. Let’s see: she divorced Kevin, for the past year has been seen with a slew of scantily clad men, and most recently she got the smack-down from a judge in her child custody suit. (more…)

When I first read the reports about the judge’s ruling on Britney as a parent, I thought to myself: Well, she’ll probably go home tonight, take a long, hot bath, maybe relax with a glass (NOTE: not a bottle) of wine, and watch some old movies. The kinds that are standby favorites for her, the kind that can always take her mind off her troubles.
I guess I assumed that because that’s what I would have done. Except I probably would have had two glasses of wine. Definitely not more than three.
Britney, on the other hand, had other plans in mind…she went partying. And BritneySpearsWatch.com has the pictures. (more…)

I’m sad for these little kids. I feel like they’re being exploited by the media. And I hope that Britney and Kevin are putting away money for their future therapy bills. The kids are going to need some counseling. (more…)

We’ve seen plenty of Britney wearing wigs, weave and whatever else — but we haven’t seen her natural hair. Almost two months ago I suggested several different styles Britney could wear without resorting to extensions or wigs, styles that would look classy and cute.
Though she has yet to go public with her own hair, and I really wish that she would, we’ve still managed to obtain pics taken of her sans scarf, sans wig, sans extensions, sans ballcap. (more…)

At first I didn’t think the rumor was true, and then the NY Post ran a report about it, which made me re-think my stance on rumors. Maybe there’s something to them, afterall.
You see, word is out that Jive, Britney Spears’ record label, had a big comeback planned for Britney. They had coordinated with Sexyback singer JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, and Britney’s hot ex that she never should have let go in the first place, as well as producer TIMBALAND to record a song with Britney. It would be a duet for JT and Brit, a song that Justin had supposedly written for Britney. And Britney backed out. (more…)

Oh, that Kevin, he’s after it. He’s totally after it, and he may totally get it, and if only we knew what “it” was, we’d be sitting pretty. See, the thing is that we don’t know if Kevin just wants more of Britney’s money - like he thinks that he’s ENTITLED to it, or something? - or if he actually cares about his children and wants THEM. Or maybe both? Why hasn’t he tried to get custody of the children he had with Shar Jackson, if fatherhood is suddenly so important to him?
That’s what I want to know.
Anyway, so now Kevin’s attorneys have served an executive administrator of Promises Rehab Facility (the facility where Britney stayed for one month back in February and March 2007) with a subpoena. I don’t about Britney, but I’m expecting that SOMETIME SOON (hint, hint, Britney) she should probably set her legal team into action. We’re waaaiiitttinnnggggg, but it doesn’t seem that Britney is doing anything about Kevin’s aggressive custody plan.

Hollywood.com reported that Britney Spears is to set the record straight about her much-publicized personal problems in a revealing interview with OK! magazine, according to reports.
The troubled star, 25, is said to have personally called the magazine’s main switchboard and asked to speak to the publication’s editor-in-chief, Sara Ivens, to negotiate a deal for the interview, according to TMZ.com.
And the mother of two is expected to tell all about her rift with her mother, Lynne, her custody battle and impending divorce from ex Kevin Federline, and her one-month stint in rehab in February.
The issue of OK! magazine is reportedly due to hit newsstands later this month.

Britney Spears claims that she was forced into rehab by her mom, manager and soon-to-be ex husband. She says she never had a drug or alcohol problem and she never should have gone to rehab. She did admit she had an emotional problem after the birth of her second child.
Apparently, Kevin Federline forced Britney into rehab by threatening to battle her in court over the custody of their two children if she did not check herself into rehab.

Yahoo! News reported this morning that Britney Spears has left Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility. After behaving like a rehab yo-yo, Britney checked into Promises for the third and final time on February 22, 2007. She spent nearly a month at the facility and checked out on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 after “successfully completing their program,” Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement released by Jive Records late Tuesday.
Yesterday TMZ reported that Britney has made one of the most amazing turnarounds in celebrity memory.
Sources say Britney and soon-to-be ex Kevin Federline had an “amazing meeting on Sunday. They are not only getting along, they are hammering out the terms of custody. We’re told when Britney gets out, she and Kevin have agreed to a 50/50 split with physical custody of their two children. The plan is for Britney to eventually gain primary custody and Kevin will have visitation.
Jamie Lynn, Britney’s sister, and Brit’s mom, Lynne, have been at Kevin’s house helping with the kids while Britney has been getting her own help in rehab. And that help is working. We’re told she has literally turned her life around.
BritneySpearsWatch.com wishes Britney the best in her continued recovery!
