Osama Lutfi is not happy with reports that the lawsuit he filed was done in order to get some cash to pay off his debts. Reports say that he’s facing foreclosure on his home, running up more then 18,000 in debt, just before filing the lawsuit against Britney and her parents for defamation and damages.

His lawyer, of course, denies it. Bryan Freedman says that it wasn’t filed to make money -which boggles the mind a little it because why else would one sue? Freedman said that the homeowners association simply misplaced Lutfi’s checks, and that it is all “nonsense!” and that it’s “just more lies and misrepresentation about a guy who is a great caring human being.”

All together now… awwwwwwww!

As Britney gets back behind the wheel, continues to prepare for the Circus Tour, AND rehires her previous manager, the drama with her ex-bad influences just doesn’t stop. Ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib apparently attempted to run over a man on Monday who was trying to serve him with court papers. The process server ended up on the hood of the car, then fell off when Ghalib drove away, ending up with scratches and bruises according to Lt. Brian Whitten. There as a report filed for assault with a deadly weapon but Whitten said that he isn’t liable for arrest just yet. “we first need to get his side of he story.”

Speaking of crazies in Britney’s life - guess who was on the practice set in order to film his part in the opening video of the Circus Tour? None other then Perez Hilton himself!

Jamie King, the choreographer and director gave him a call and Perez spend the day on set, even getting to se a bit of the rehearsals, which he described as “sensory overload and amazing! The show is not only in the round, but there are three circus rings with action going on in all of them - dancers, acrobats, aerialists and more. It’s Major!”

Who knew we’d ever be jealous of Perez?!?

The rumor mills have gone WILD over the past couple days, declaring that the Circus Tour hung in the balance, that the whole thing might be called off due to an issue over whether the kids could come along with Mama as she performs around the nation or not. Rumor had it that K-Fed, Britney and Papa Spears had gotten together and were hashing out a deal what would allow Sean and Jayden to join Britney on tour, so that she would not miss out on seeing them for the entire time. It was reported that there would be three houses set up as ‘base camp’ - one in LA, New Orleans and New Jersey, and that there would be traveling between them so that the boys wouldn’t have to move around so much. Then there was the $4000 a week that would be paid to KFed in addition to his regular alimony for going along with the deal along with separate housing secured for her baby daddy.

So where was the reported problem? Well, it seems that KFed and Papa Spears forgot to let KFed’s lawyers in on the deal. Whoops! Since they weren’t a part of the decision, they were upset and I dunno, maybe thought Kevin was being taken advantage of, or something. Either way, they apparently got it worked out, as though Britney’s insiders said the Tour hung on this balance - if the kids couldn’t come she’d cancel the whole thing - now it has been reported that it’s all a go. The boys will be there, KFed is up for it all, and the Circus Tents will rise!

Whew.

The other day we mentioned that some stations were getting a little gun shy about playing the new single, If You Seek Amy, due to the naughty insinuations of the title and lyrics. The label even changed the name to “if you see amy” on some of them to slip it through, though now it seems it wasn’t really necessary.

The Radio Stations are playing it anyway - and ignoring the boycott called by the Parents Television Council, who said it violated broadcast indecency laws if aired between 6am and 10pm.

It only took 6 radio stations to play the track before it entered he Billboard Pop 100 chart, and as of yesterday the single had already recorded digital sales of 107,000!

The song is undeniably catchy - check it out!

In other news - our girl Brit joins Robert Pattinson as they were voted the most attractive woman and man of 2008 by Hello Magazine. She beat out Angelina Jolie, Delta Goodrem, Shakira and Liv Tyler!

Or something like that. Though there are several books and millions of magazine articles, and thousands to snarky blog posts about our girl Britney, she’s never told her own story in her own ghost writer’s words!

According to The Mirror UK, a publishing deal is in the works for our pop princess to pen a no-holds barred account of her career and life. According to their source, Britney has kept diaries so there’s nothing she’ll leave out - unless she wants too.

… gee. ya think?

Anyway - if the deal is finalized, Britney won’t stop with just ONE book, but 3-5 over the next 10 years. “Britney will talk frankly about growing up and how she went off the rails. It’ll be a gripping read.”

She’s supposed to start writing once the tour is complete, with the first book being written by her own hand - and all of this for a cool $14 million.

Hello everyone, Danny here - coming in for a guest post on my favorite Britney Spears fansite. Not much has been happening in “Britney Land” over the holidays. She got a chance to spend the time with her kids that she’s been wanting, and got to see Mama and Papa Spears too. I’m sure that she enjoyed the holidays this year, not nearly as much drama - I’m sure.

In other news, Britney is getting nice and thin, in shape, toned, taned and sexed up for her new music video/single… IF U SEEK AMY! Whoo! I know you have to be as excited as I am. As I stated in my review way back in December, If U Seek Amy has a dirty, sexy, fun undertone to it.

If U Seek Amy = F*U*C*KME or Fuck Me.

Yeah, I know. I’m anxious to see what the FCC or the MPA or whatever you want to call them these days has to say about THAT. Huh? Britney will win. Britney always wins.

Anyways, the last update BSW has is envolving Britney’s “Circus” Tour. Britney’s Reps tell us that she’s getting ready, rehearsing and all that good stuff. Which is really good, because I’m most likely going to see her in March!

Britney posted some snapshots of her and the boys on her website, yesterday - looking adorable all dressed up in miniature tuxedos for their uncle Bryan’s wedding! As we mentioned before, on New Years Eve, Bryan tied the knot in a small, intmate ceremony in New Orleans, with only the family in attendance as he married Graciella Sanchez - who also happens to be Jamie Lynn’s manager. Reports say the ceremony was beautiful, and we’d believe it looking at the pictures of Britney and the boys!

What were Britney’s New Years Resolutions? To stop worrying “because I worry too much!” and to stop biting her nails. Maybe one will help the other there!

In other news, Jamie Spears has been granted permanent conservatorship over Britney’s estate officially and legally, almost a year after he acquired the job. The ruling first came down in October, then Papa Spears got a nice pay raise in December from $10k to $16k a month. (Man, I need to get me a sweet job like THAT!). Monday the papers were filed in LA Superior Court to make it officially legal, claiming that Britney is “substantially unable to manage her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.”

Further rumor has it that this move was made in order for Britney to get the insurance needed to cover her upcoming tour. Either way, it’s good that she’s at last being well taken care of by her family!

Last but not least - there’s more rumors (as if there is ever a shortage on them!) that Madonna may join Britney on the stage at some points during the Circus tour! Sources claim that choreographers have been asked to create an “out of this world dance routine” for Britney and Madonna, a high energy dance routine to get them back to what they’re both good at, performing.

Can’t wait to hear the first reviews of the tour, can you?!

After the smashing success of her appearance on Good Morning America, Britney - and her boobs - celebrated her birthday at the trendy Tejune night club in style! We know it was stylish, as Project Runway’s Heidi Klum showed up, and quite possibly told her that her bewbs were either in, or they were out. (Yes, I know, I’d be a SMASH at these parties, wouldn’t I?) Rumor has it that Heidi asked Britney to be a guest judge on the upcoming season, wherever and whenever it may air. Score!

After the GMA Performance boy bander and Star Dancer, Lance Bass had nothing but praise for the popstar. He told People that this will be “the biggest comeback of all time!” and that Britney is doing an amazing job and he’s proud of her. Awww.

Lance isn’t the only one talking to People, either. Baby-daddy, Kevin Federline opened up recently about his relationship with Britney, and their boys. He remembers the first time he met Briney, and how they hit it off right away, and the day of their wedding was the happiest moment of his life. As for what went wrong, he focused so much on their children, and it was simply hard. She filed for divorce and blindsided him, but he wants everyone to know tht he fought for his kids, not for money. The kids are the most important thing to him, and he’s pleased that things are finally getting better. “There’s nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.”

On her birthday, Britney also taped a segment for Wednesday’s Tree lighting ceremony in New York City, spent the next day showering her boys with love at famed FAO Shwartz, and most recently was seen lighting up LA last night, as well. She took part in the Light of the Angels Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at the LA Live entertainment complex and with a flip of the candy cane swich, joined the Mayor and councilwoman in turning on the lights. It’s been a big week for our girl!

Britney Spears has apparently reunited with her old manager, Larry Rudolph! Jamie Spears has been helping turn Britney’s life around, and if the latest rumors are true, this is another big step in the right direction. Larry, who is credited with discovering Brit, first parted ways with her when she married Kevin, only to reunite when they divorced. Most recently, she fired Larry last April after he played a part in sending her to rehab. It’s unknown how long he has been back working with her now.

Jamie Spears always supported Larry’s decision to send Britney to rehab, so it’s not surprising that he reached out to her old manager to help get Britney’s career back on track. Larry has been a huge part of Britney’s professional life, so hopefully this is a sign of more good things to come.

Britney Spears takes a break from her hectic schedule of misbehaving to do something radical this week: work!

She’s been busy guest-starring on the hit CBS show, How I Met Your Mother. Stepping into the shoes of a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office named “Abby,�? has been “terrific,�? reports Brit. “Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful, and Abby is such a fun girl to play. I’m having a blast!�?

Brit’s bit part took the cast by surprise. “We were literally just filming last week and told, ‘You’re not going to believe who just called and said they wanted to be on the show,’�? recalled Emmy-winning lead Neil Patrick Harris.

Even more surprising - she’s no trainwreck! Co-star Alyson Hannigan admits she’s “quite impressed�? with Britney’s acting.

A restraining order against the man who’s been at Britney Spears’ side during her downward spiral portrays him as a Svengali figure who held her a virtual hostage in her home, drugged her, took over her finances and controlled the ravenous paparazzi “like a general.”

The order against 33-year-old Sam Lutfi was based on a lengthy declaration from Spears’ mother, Lynne, who says they met in October 2007, when he “essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances.”

Lynne Spears’ account of a long, chaotic night at Britney’s home depicted a drugged and confused pop star being led around by Lutfi, who was setting up pictures for the paparazzi even as she was spinning out of control.

The documents released by the court Tuesday ordered Lutfi to stay away from Spears, her homes, her parents and siblings’ homes and the hospital where she is confined for psychiatric evaluation.

On Monday, Lutfi told The Associated Press in a text message: “I have no problems with anyone writing anything negative against me. My image is not of concern, hers is.” He has not responded to further inquiry.

Lynne Spears said in the order that Lutfi “drugged Britney, he has cut Britney’s home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything — Britney’s business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate.”

Much of the 6-page declaration centers on the night of Jan. 28, just a few days before Spears was whisked by police and ambulance to a hospital psychiatric ward, where she remained Tuesday night. Her mother outlined increasingly bizarre behavior through the night, and said her daughter asked at one point, “When do I get to see my babies?” to which Lutfi answered, “Wednesday.”

Spears has been in court with ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody of their two small children, 1-year-old Jayden James and 2-year-old Sean Preston. She lost visitation rights last month after refusing to hand them back over to their father.

Lynne Spears described a harrowing night that stretched into the wee hours when she, her husband and a friend went to Britney’s home because they’d heard Britney was crying after a fight with Lutfi. Once inside, Lynne Spears said she was told by Lutfi that her daughter didn’t want anyone but her in the house and she was afraid to see her father.

Lynne Spears also said there were several photoggraphers present, who deferred to Lutfi. “The paparazzi reported to Sam and addressed him with great respect,” she said. “They treated him like a general.” (more…)

Sources at UCLA Medical Center tell TMZ Britney Spears has been classified as “G.D.” - Greatly Disabled. That is a huge and dangerous deal. That means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter. Being G.D. is one of the criteria for involuntary commitment.

Several health care professionals tell us Britney has fallen into a “manic state” due to her bipolar disorder. We’re also told, she arrived at the hospital this morning at around 2:15 AM but wasn’t admitted until 4:15 AM, because she was causing such a scene in the hospital. (more…)

In case you’re having a hard time keeping track of all these reports about Britney, whether she’s in the hospital or not, you’ve happened upon the right site. Here’s a summary:

In the wee hours of the morning today (just after midnight), Britney’s new psychiatrist went to her home and felt she was a danger to herself and others — partly because of her reckless driving and partly because of her “downhill behavior.” As a result, the shrink launched a plan (days in the making) to have Britney committed to UCLA Medical Center by calling the cops.

Sources tell us the cops knew it was coming. In fact, the plan was for cops and paramedics to take Britney away the night before, but it was scrubbed. Last night, it all went down according to plan. Cops even used code to minimize craziness in transporting Britney to the hospital. Over the police radio, Britney was referred to as “The Package.”

Sources are now painting a very disturbing picture of Britney Spears, or whoever she happens to be at any given moment.

It’s rumored that the whole British accent thing — well, it’s more than an accent. Britney has multiple personalities, including, as people in her life call it, “the British girl.” We’re told when Spears loses the British personality, she has absolutely no idea what she did during the time she assumed that personality.

Sources say Brit has a number of other identities, where she becomes “the weepy girl, the diva, the incoherent girl,” and on and on.

Sources say Britney had become the British girl the day she didn’t show for her deposition and has no recollection of it.

Apparently the Britney stand off earlier this month had a note found by her friend, Sam Lufti. But not just any note – it was a suicide note written by Britney.

Sam found the note on the bathroom counter in the days leading up to the meltdown.

The letter was filled with reasons why she didn’t want to live any longer, and included lines from a poem about death. Britney said she was sorry for making her life what everyone else wanted it to be.

Britney also mentioned in the letter how lonely and unfair life could be, how peaceful death seems and how her mind would finally be at ease.

Britney Spears was nowhere to be seen today as a court hearing convened in her child custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Responsibly, and continuing to prove himself in the court’s eyes as the better parent, Kevin and his lawyer were on hand as Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon began the hearing, which was scheduled after Gordon suspended Britney’s right to visit her sons.

Gordon allowed reporters into the courtroom for about one minute before he announced that the hearing was being closed.

The commissioner granted a motion from Britney’s attorneys to quash a subpoena, but there was no information given about what the subpoena involved or to whom it had been issued.

A throng of photographers and reporters waited outside the downtown courthouse to see if Britney would come to what one attorney described as “the most significant hearing in the case so far.” Law enforcement officers watched over the scene.

Britney, 26, has had trouble making recent legal dates: On Dec. 12, she called in sick for a court-ordered deposition, then arrived nearly two hours late at an attorney’s office on its rescheduled date, Jan. 3.

Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told The Associated Press on Sunday that he didn’t know if Britney would come to Monday’s hearing, and he indicated that it would be important for her to be there to take the opportunity to try to persuade the court restore visitation.
