Britney’s Re-Inventing Herself For Her Comeback
Vegas blog Luxe Life was the first to report that Britney Spears is back in Vegas tonight, but this visit is all work and very little play for princess of pop. Luxe Life also reported that Britney is getting a total makeover as part of her new-found committment to her 2007 comeback.
Britney is in Las Vegas through the weekend, where she is laying down two new tracks for her long-awaited album. She is in the Recording Studio at the Palms working with record producer Dr. Luke, who has written hits and produced for some of the biggest names on the charts. Dr. Luke’s resume includes performers such as Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Lady Sovereign and Chris Daughtry (who recently performed at the request of Paula Abdul at her Nevada Ballet “Woman of the Year? festivities at the Wynn in Las Vegas).

Britney’s fans are pouring out their support and excited about this long-awaited comeback. They’re not the only ones, it seems. Britney is finally taking her comeback seriously.
Luxe Life maintaines that Britney does not have any plans to live up to her party gal reputation of late. Rather, she is very focused on completing tracks for the album. Britney is also reportedly working with the Pet Shop Boys on this album, as reported by BritneySpearsWatch.com earlier this week. Britney is a huge fan of the remixes the duo did for Madonna, and hopes the Pet Shop Boys can be a similar help on her newest album.
Britney is taking her comeback commitment to her personal appearance as well. She has, at this hour, just completed a 4-hour total makeover at the AMP Salon inside the Palms under the careful guidance of Hairstylist to the Stars, Michael Boychuck. The makeover includes a manicure, pedicure, extensions and highlights to soften her appearance with her recently dark-colored hair.
Britney is staying in one of the expensive sky villas in the Palms Fantasy tower, but this visit, she is not in the $40,000 a night Hugh Hefner suite.
