Ashlee Simpson is reportedly trying to get in on the action of the hot new trio formed by Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. She’s eager for some press, and has emailed Paris to hang out. Paris told Ashlee that she would call her, and Ashlee has been left by the phone wondering when that will happen.
Paris hasn’t dialed Ashlee’s number yet.
Why?
According to STAR magazine, Britney Spears refuses to allow Ashlee into their clique: “She and Paris make jokes about Ashlee lip-syncing,” the [STAR] source says. “Britney just can’t take her seriously!” But Ash isn’t giving up. “Ashlee’s at home bored,” the [STAR] source says. “she saw all the publicity - she wants in!”
Will Ashlee make it into the trio’s inner circle? Or will she be banned by Britney Spears and be forced to start her own clique fueled by rumors about drugs, sex and pole-dancing?
