Britney Removed From Chateau Marmont’s Restaurant
Have you guys heard about this? Rumors have been circulating for a while that Britney Spears has been banned from an exclusive hotel in Los Angeles after fellow guests complained about her behavior. I haven’t been able to confirm these reports, but you know how rumors go…
The pop tartlette is alleged to have shocked diners in the restaurant of a popular celebrity hotel, the Chateau Marmont. Britney allegedly smeared food across her face (and word is, she wasn’t eating messy ribs) - which led to her being asked to leave the establishment.
A source told British newspaper The Sun, “The diners were disgusted. You wouldn’t expect that from a teenager in a fast food joint. Royalty have dined in this restaurant. Her behavior was totally unacceptable.”
A source at the hotel added, “Staff at the Chateau have been told she is not welcome. She constantly looked out of it when she came in and a few of the guests began to make noises. The hotel acted before she made a big scene. No one wants to be banned from staying at the Chateau.”
I’m going to guess that Britney WAS out of it, probably courtesy of a drug or three, but that was long before (well, only two weeks before, but you get the point) the judge ordered Britney to undergo random drug testing during the week. Which, hey, have you heard any more about that? Because I haven’t, and I was *certain* reports about the drug testing results would have been leaked by now.

So she’s not welcome but she’s not banned. Hmmm. Brit and the Chateau have a long and troubled relationship, as I recall. Wasn’t that where she stayed both before and after her house was finished? And didn’t they finally ask her to leave when she was staying there as a guest? If anyone had ever told me I’d overstayed my welcome, I doubt I would ever show up there again. But then, maybe Britney has a thicker skin than I have.
