Britney Is Once Again The Subject of Late Night Show Monologues

Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday night (Feb 21) , “In a new interview, Madonna said she wants to be like Gandhi. As opposed to Britney Spears, who apparently wants to look like Gandhi.

“… More theories coming out as to why Britney Spears shaved her head. This is very bizarre behavior. People are very disturbed by this. Some people think she shaved her head to avoid testing her hair for drugs. Does that work, Kev?” Kevin (not Kevin Federline) responded, “No, it doesn’t, Jay. Trust me. I don’t know.”

Jay continued, “I heard that. I don’t know. … As you know, Britney checked into Promises, a rehab center in Malibu, yesterday - and then checked out again after one day. I think she left ’cause she felt uncomfortable. Everybody there was either anti-Semitic, anti-gay, anti-African American. You know - it’s all - boy, nobody got that. … But you know something? Between the Britney Spears news and the Anna Nicole Smith news, I’m really starting to miss the crazy astronaut. What happened to her? When did she go? What happened to her? It is like ‘Girls Gone Wild’, isn’t it?”
