Bombed VMAs: What Happened?
BritneySpearsWatch.com is trying to figure out what happened with Britney’s VMA performance. We’ve scoured the Internet and have found several good excuses - which one do you think Britney will choose?
BROKEN HEEL
Some people think Britney limped around stage because of a possible broken heel. In that case, I don’t know why she didn’t just rip the other off and keep performing.
BROKEN HEART
The National Ledger reports that Angel was out with some other gal, and Britney was furious. Of course, Britney has no reason to be angry: she and Angel both deny that they’ve been dating, and we all know publicists would never tell the world something that wasn’t quite true.
BROKEN ACT
The subpar Gimme More act wasn’t Britney’s only problem at the VMAs, but it was the biggest one. BreatheHeavy, a Britney fansite, says the performance was originally planned to be a magic show with Vegas illusionist Criss Angel, but the venue refused to allow all the equipment and tricks: The stage wasn’t strong enough or insured enough.
One thing’s for sure: Britney was not happy after the show. Reports are flying across the web that Britney looked upset and that people spotted her crying in bathrooms throughout the evening.
There, there, Britney. Others are predicting that Gimme More will hit the Top 100 by next week - so at least you’ve got SOMETHING going in your favor.

I have to admit - even *I* felt for her after that performance. I don’t think she was “too fat” (although she probably should’ve picked a different outfit), but I do think she wasn’t fully prepared. A prepared performer would’ve been able to handle the heel situation, even if she had to take 10 seconds to take off her boots LOL.

Look rs, are you really that stupid that you can’t see the real problem? Yes I agree Britney’s outfit was hideous and her performance was ridiculous, but there is nothing wrong with her body. She may not be all muscle like she was before, but after having two baby’s one right after the other she still looks damn good, probably better than most of the people talking trash. Besides what does her tummy have to do with anything? It’s supposed to be about the music people, come on!!! Honestly I would not be surprised if she got set up. Sadly so many people out there live just to . Britney has her problems just like anyone else but at least she is not ful.

Okay, I watched that thing over and over again last night (had it on the DVR) with my Best friend, and neither of us could find a broken heel!!
Have you read that apparently she didn’t show up in rehearsals until very late, and that she refused to wear the outfit that MTV had for her, AND that she had to wear hair extensions she didn’t want?!
*sigh*
Forget Amy Winehouse - Britney needs an intervention!
